Oh yes, my all time favorite NES game. An all time classic that was so hard to beat, and so satisfying when you did. Also quite ahead of its time in my opinion.

This is my #1 favorite NES game since I bought my 1st copy from a pawn shop in 1991. So all this time I really didn't have to go to every single area, collect all the radios, and collect all the items which I thought was necessary to progress in this game. I enjoy this game everytime I boot it up next time I may run through this game like you did here or just continue to cruise thru it like I've been doing from the time I first played it.
Unfortunately, a speed run version of this game omits the classic "Get the heck out of here, you nerd!" line from an enemy soldier in the neutral zone.
I remember how i was able to beat this game as a kid, with and without the gamegenie. I really do like the ending, what’s interesting is how it says “told story will be told for a long time” and how it it also says 2010 at the end. And back in 1988 ,2010 was 22 years ahead of us, it was the future, now it is strange to say that the year 2010 has been passed away now for 14 years.
I love this game. People complain about not being able to jump, but I always thought it was super easy and very natural to grab and swing my way through. Nice run, dude.

Never got far in this game at all. The grappling hook mechanic frustrated me, I found the map system - with the out-of-sequence numbers and trucks moving all over the place - impenetrably confusing, and I could never figure out where I was supposed to go or what I was supposed to do.

Rented this game from Blockbuster and it had no instruction booklet. Still managed to solve it over the weekend. Great times!

I don't remember my time but after many attempts I finished the game without being killed.
