Love this. Have soup and salad. There is fennel in Italian sausage. Ceviche is where you “cook” with acid. Heat charges the structure of protein and acid does same thing.
I have been doubling up recipes for a few months, but planned out 3 months of dinners/lunches and bought my labels. I’ve lined up my daughter, sister and niece to prep and make the meals next week!!! Thank you so much for all of the inspiration!
Thank you!!! When I told my sister what I was doing, she thought I had lost my mind. She’s never prepped ahead more than doubling a recipe. So I’m excited to show her.
I made egg roll in a bowl today. I probably should have drained the pork sausage a bit, but other than that it was unbelievably delicious. I mean really really good! Husband loved it too! Thanks for sharing. EDIT: I made the Dr, Pepper Pork today and it was very very good! My crockpot runs too hot even on low so I have to lift the lid once in a while to keep the temp around 150 where it should be, but we got 'er done. Take the seeds out of the pods to reduce spiciness. Beef Strogranoff: tried it, big thumbs up. Tried the corn chowder. Doubled the bacon. Yum!
I still love the Mighty Python reference! "The number shall be 5 no more no less." We love your Ham and Cheese hot sandwiches (not the right name) and the mini meatloaves. I made the ham/beef and cheese sandwiches for a camping trip in Oct and made more for our lunches for work. I freeze them with parchment paper then tin foil that way they can be cooked in the fire, stove or microwave (minus the tinfoil). We both love those. The meatloaves, I make into giant meatballs and place into the middle of the mashed potatoes and a veggie around that. My husband loves that meal. I do that in one person portions as he works nights. Thank you so much for all the fun!
I can't help myself. I watched it again over the holidays and it's so darn funny. The Holy Grail. Not my Top 10 favourite meals video. hahaha It's just nice that someone gets my jokes so thank you for that!
I just learned to because I don't like too hot or too spicy to take the peppers out of the sauce and open them, and use a spoon to peel out inside membranes and seeds(as that is where the heat/spicy is concentrated) to reduce the spicy hot from peppers and keep the flavor of the pepper in the dish your making. Thanks for the great recipes and top 10 of 2022!
Sure! Aunty Doris' Baking Powder Biscuits 3 cup flour 3 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup butter, cubed small-ish 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings, divided 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 1/4 cup milk Melt 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings in a cookie sheet. Mix together (I use my stand mixer and the paddle attachment) the flour, baking soda, salt, butter, 1 Tbsp. bacon drippings and sugar, until just mixed - don't over do it. Add milk and then knead. Turn out onto floured board and pat flat with hands to about 1 or 1 1/2 inches thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip tops of biscuits into melted bacon drippings in the cookie sheet and turn over. Bump biscuits together slightly to bake. Rest pan of bicuits for 15 minutes before baking at 400° for 18-20 minutes and starting to turn golden on top. If you wanted to add cheese, add 1 cup shredded cheese before adding milk. If you wanted chive biscuits, add 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives before adding milk. Fun fact - my mother never owned a biscuit cutter in her life. I'm pretty sure she used a pizza sauce can cut open on both ends. It was the perfect size. I hope they work out for you!
"G.B.S." Yes! And GF noodles are tricky, but I have had limited success depending on the brand/ingredient blend, cut and length of cook time. I do freeze the stroganoff fully cooked in single serve dishes over cooked GF tagliatelle.
I am losing my mind trying to find the taco meat recipe with the cheese in it! I purchased chicken and beef recipes. I would like to join your club but am not on Facebook. How much would I miss? Love what I have seen so far! Diana
Good news! You don’t have to be on Facebook to join the Club! You can join here: mealplan.freezermeals101.com/join-the-club/ The taco meat is a Club exclusive recipe.
Pizzabuns have been the biggest hit here... one bag of toppings...and I can make the kids rheir normal store bought buns...and mom can make her keto/low carb buns for me!
@Freezer Meals 101 just so easy to do! And can accommodate all eating types( maybe not vegetarian if you don't make your mix vegetarian ahead of time) lol but standard, gluten free, low carb, you name it!
Lol, hate to break it to you Kristi but not everywhere has toasted sarmies with soup on menus. It's actually not normal in my country. But I get your point
@@FreezerMeals101 South Africa 🤗 But it might be a climate thing? We don't get nearly as cold here so our soups don't have to be as filling? Or maybe its nothing to do with that, either way it's interesting to see the small differences in cultures 😅😅
I just found this channel two days ago. My daughter just decided we should pursue doing freezer meals. Yesterday I investigated how this plan worked and what the club involves. This morning I decided to join. Then I find the price has changed. Not joining anymore. Looks like something that can work for so many people. Not sure why they decided to price themselves out of reach. Sure hope thy see that people can't afford this large change in membership fee and they reduce it. At that point, I will reconsider.
I'm so sorry that you missed the deadline for the price increase. The reason for the increase was having the added value in the Club of the new features such as the printable labels. It remains under $7 a month because we wanted to keep it accessible. We know from our members that most of them reported saving more than the new price of the full annual membership in their very first freezer meal session. For now, perhaps you could give freezer meals a try by using some of our free meal plans. They come with the recipes, shopping list, prep list, and printable labels. One that I really like because it offers a lot of variety in the meals is this one: freezermeals101.com/no-fuss-sheet-pan-freezer-meals/ You can also find most of our recipes free on our website freezermeals101.com and of course, you can get free tips here on our TH-cam channel!
Good idea! I haven't used that in years. I had a bottle that I used once and then it probably sat there for 10 years. Haha. I'm ok with it being ugly but I can understand why someone would want it to be prettier. Haha. Thanks for watching!

You will love it. We do it as a family one weekend a month and it has been a lifesaver for sure.

The name of Sandi Richard's cooking show was called Fixing Dinner. I love her cookbooks and also loved the show.
I don’t know if this is just a California thing but we like our breakfast bagels with eggs, avocado and lemon pepper sprinkled on top. Delicious
That sounds awesome. We recently made homemade Everything Bagel Seasoning and now I want that! Thanks for watching!

Welcome!! So glad to hear that!! We'll see you around :D
So inspiring. Thank you!
i am just happy to here something you can do with clamato juice because my grandfather use to drink it mixed with a beer.
That's pretty common here! I've done it and it's a nice change. But you're right, unless you have things to use it for, it just sort of sits there...
Wouldnlove the recipe for the biscuits. Love the story

I made That Lady's Chicken and the tater tot casserole (among other things) for my daughter when she was about to deliver. She loved both of them
I used to watch Sandy Richard’s show- it was good!

I was wondering if you knew that Ziplock has 1/2 gallon bags and pint bags.
I haven't seen them here in Canada, but apparently there are half quart freezer bags in the US. I hope you can find them!
Whoop Whoop :)

@@FreezerMeals101 Thank you. I had not found this option yet. I will start with that.
Another freezer meal UTuber I watch is She’s in her Apron.
Add a little Kitchen Bouquet to make it prettier.
Try Aleppo pepper for people who don't like a lot of spice. Lots of flavor with a little spice.
