Well TY ladies for sharing all of your hard work with us. And half is 68 meals. Which helps me tremendously in seeing your freezer full, because I'd like to do this seasonally for 3 months in each. Seeing your freezer with 68 meals shows me that for 90 meals- 1 additional standing full size freezer should suffice. And perhaps a box freezer (for sides, deserts, etc). Then in my kitchen a large fridge and freezer combo for all of the usual suspects. So thanks for that and I hope your finger gets better quickly! Happy Frozen Holidays!
Extra chicken to turn into more freezer meals = a blessing! Just a bit more work for more freezer meals is a win in my book. I so need to eat what is in my freezer to make room for lots of freezer meals
You two make me laugh so much! I love you both! Sorry about your finger, but what an amazing friendship you have! Thanks for sharing your life and your meals with us.
Thanks ladies. I’ve just found your channel and am loving all the recipes! The energy between the two of you is great. You make the videos fun to watch!! 😊😊
lol I just found your channel I was looking for quick meals but I stayed for the laughs you two are hilarious such a joy to see and watch you both have fun while cooking .
I think it's good you work together so well I've seen a couple gals do many freezer meals alone and it becomes work for them I'm sure it's work but with a friend it's more like a day with a friend
Have been watching your frugal meals to save money you can use your bone in to make your own broth saves a ton of money. And cooking freezer meals with a couple friends you can buy in bulk with no waste
So true! I definitely make my own broth at home but I just use it when I'm making something fresh because I don't want to thaw it and refreeze. But you absolutely can use homemade broth! Great idea!
I'm ecstatic I found you two as I am new to freezer meals. I heard about it a lot but never really looked into it. I took part in a supposedly "healthy" freezer meal program last week and it was so ridiculous, there was very little "healthy" about it and we were treated like children. I have no need for this. I can't wait to dive into this one and fill up my freezer. Thanks ladies. You rock!
The comic relief is hysterical! Thank you for making all these freezer meals! I followed when I knew I was having back surgery, and it helped me for over a month! Second round didn't work as smoothly but not giving up. I just need to make sure I make gluten free and most of your recipes are adjustable! Thank you! I love watching Jammerill too! Looking forward to watching more vlogs from your channel!! Dream neighbors!
I'm so glad it was able to help. Keep at it. We've had some recipes that were a miss, but we have more hits than misses now. With practise you'll find the freezer meals that you love.
That Indian chicken is interesting. Here in Australia minced meat is what you call ground beef. However we do have fruit mince that we put in Christmas sweet pies. Never heard of the fruit mince in a curry before very interesting, keen to try!
I just discovered your channel and I love your energy, creativity and organization! We’re building a house so freezer meal planning is on hold as we’re trying to use up what we have, BUT I can’t want to dive in when we get moved! I have only done a few dishes in the past, but you have expanded my list of ideas! Love how you do these meal planning sessions together! My mom lives with us and I can totally see us knocking out tons of meals. I admire you working through a tendon injury; brings back memories of a laceration I had just a few weeks ago from a tin can. Every time I open a pull top can I can literally feel the pain again! PSA use a utensil when removing contents from a can!
Ouch! That sounds so painful. I hope you and your mom are able to have some great freezer meal making sessions in your new kitchen once you're all moved in. It's so nice to have someone to do it with.
Love your huge meap prep with Christie 😊 a great chilli recipe is lots of kidney beans and black beans, onions, 2 tins of plum tomatoes and a great smoked paprika (2 heaped spoonfuls) and chilli powder to your own taste, 2 heaped spoonful of garlic...for each bag and salt and pepper to taste.....enjoy 😊
New sub here, I like the idea of using freezer bags. They take up less space in the freezer. You are giving me some great ideas of new freezer meals to add to my freezer. I am new to freezer meals. Mine are mostly left overs that I have froze for quick lunches and nights I dont feel like cooking. I am going to start doing these freezer meals.
Welcome! Thanks for subbing! You have to do what works for you! Doing freezer meals has allowed me to definitely expand my routine recipes! I'll admit, even with freezer meals, I still sometimes don't feel like cooking, but man, it's so much easier with them! Good luck!
Having a really bad....life....but oh my, y'all made me laugh and giggle and I really love y'all's videos. Thanks for being a breath of fresh air. I live alone and don't eat meat haha but I do use your ideas and I have started making meals and then freezing portions in baggies. Everything had tasted really good after freezing. Thank you ❤️
Do you cook Lisa’s Pork Chop meal in the crockpot? What would you use the roasted tomatoes sauce for? Are the beef strips cooked? How many servings in most freezer meals? Thank you very much. I’m hoping to make some freezer meals for my kids for Christmas presents and me too. Lol
This is our first time trying Lisa's Pork Chops so we will likely try one set each in the crock pot and one in the skillet or oven to see which we prefer. The roasted chipotle tomato sauce we will use as a pasta sauce. The beef strips go into the bags raw and will get cooked on the day we serve them. There are an average of 6 serving in our freezer meals. Good luck! Freezer meals would make an incredible Christmas gift. I think it will be well appreciated.
war-chester-shire sauce...or here in england we just say wus-ster sauce for short lol, first time watching your channel, really enjoyed all the recipes, looking forward to watching more xx
Hmmm, Thats interesting I have only known Mincemeat to be for pies, I now wonder what else it can be used for? My Grandmothers allways had it in their kitchens. 🙂
You two are fabulous! I am now torn between filling my entire freezer in the next 8 hours or binge-watching every one of your videos. If I get no sleep tonight, it will definitely be your fault 😜😂
Welcome to the Club! We're so happy to have you. I have good news actually about the labels. We're working on a way to make it so that you can print your own labels in the Club! The technology is proving a little challenging so it might be a few months before all the glitches are worked out and it's available, but we are working on it. In the meantime, in the Club resource section, you can find the printable labels with instructions for certain meals in the ready made meal plans and chicken and beef dump books... but our goal is to make it so you can custom them to the ones you want in the future.
Hi Ann-Marie. We do have a number of videos of freezer meals for one or two people that you might find helpful. Here's one: th-cam.com/video/WLCBVXTDz-0/w-d-xo.html
🤣 My family has called Worcestershire sauce "rooster juice" ever since I can remember. Not really sure how that name came about but it's a heckuva lot easier to say than Worcestershire.
LOL. I actually know the history behind that sauce's name. In the 19th century an English gentleman (sorry, I forget his name) was traveling in Africa. He came across this sauce that he absolutely loved. Fortunately he was able to get the recipe, which he took back home to Worchester. There he got a couple of guys to make the sauce, which involves a lot of fermenting/rotting. The first batch didn't turn out very good, but they kept tweeking the recipe until it came out good. Obviously they named the sauce after that town, and it is still made there to this day.
A little runny. Typically I would make a roux when making it fresh and it's a nice gravy for the pie. That doesn't work well because it separates and gets runny. If you do it with soup instead, it still seems to get a bit runny. I guess, your best option would be heat it and thicken it a bit with some flour or cornstarch before assembling your pie and baking it. We've tried a few different ways and it just seems to be one of those meals that are tough to make into a freezer meal.
Hi Lori, almost all of the links should take you directly to a recipe. The ones for a video just give a more detailed demonstration of how to make them and will have the recipe typed out in the video description. Hope that helps!
I post a What's for Dinner? video every week where I show how we use the meals and what our family thought of them so then you can see which ones were a hit and which ones were not so much.
Good question. I've never seen Patak's Original Simmer Sauce but it sounds like it would be a fair but thinner than the curry paste we use, so maybe cut back on the other liquid in the recipe a bit.
We learned the hard way if we were going to have something "extra" in our cup, we had to do it late on day 2. We would miss ingredients, or do our math wrong, which is something we struggle with at the best of times! We are stone cold sober in this video but the energy is high!
I know you guys use cream of mushroom soup a lot but I detest it. I love mushroom but that soup ruins a meal for me. Have you ever substituted something else in place of it? And what? Ideas please.
Mushroom soup is an easy one because it does all the things: it's creamy, adds a layer of flavour and has some salt in it. If you're not opposed to soups in general, and just don't like mushroom soup, you can try cream of celery or cream of chicken soup. (Edit: someone above mentioned cream of bacon! That would be good!) You'll get the same boost without the mushrooms. If you can't do canned soups at all... then you may need to find something that does those things for you - evaporated milk or heavy cream for something creamy, a bit extra salt, some other spices or even vegetable or chicken broth to add in that layer of flavour that the soup would otherwise provide. Alternatively, you could go an extra step and make a white sauce or a gravy. We don't because it's incredibly time-consuming. You may need to do a bit of trial and error, but I'm sure there are ways to do it without the soup. Good luck!
Is there a way you guys could actually put the actual amounts of ingredients of each item. Can't make if we don't know how much of stuff to put in the recipe.
Not a stupid question at all Celeste. It's not very obvious. It depends if you're on mobile or computer when watching. On mobile, you touch the title of the video under the video and a box opens up. On a computer, under the video, you'll see the title and the start of the description and then you'll see "more" and you'll have to click on the "more" to see the full description.
Dot from UK Hi I love you ladies but that music, honestly too loud I could not hear you. will have to try to watch again and mute the awful loud music, shame as I like to listen to your commentary. Best wishes Dot.
The chemistry between both of you are literally bff goals and i love watching every prep video you have made!
Nice to see new ones that aren't so recycled out here in these TH-cam streets. TY
I don’t have a large family or do freezer meals, but I adore watching you guys together so I watch like I’m there with you ❤️
Oh, I just love the energy between you two 🥰 this sense of community is so heart warming and inspiring
Thank you so much 🤗
Another roaring success, the commentary adds to the championship atmosphere. You two have way too much fun!

I really enjoy watching the two of you. Your recipes are amazing and so helpful and your humor is infectious! Thank you so much for your videos.
Thank you so much!
You two make me laugh so much! I love you both! Sorry about your finger, but what an amazing friendship you have! Thanks for sharing your life and your meals with us.
I place a paper towel or parchment paper between each ziplock bag when I place in freezer so they don’t freeze together
Golden mushroom soup is the best on a beef roast. Makes the best gravy along with the drippings.
Yum! Yes!
Thanks ladies. I’ve just found your channel and am loving all the recipes! The energy between the two of you is great. You make the videos fun to watch!! 😊😊
You cracked me up with “Rotel chicken thing”. It sounds yummy.

That was an awesome freezer prepping session! I get so many great ideas from your sessions! Thank you so much for the inspiration! 😀💜
You are so welcome!

Corn read goes great with chili. Or tortilla chips with sour cream, cheese, avocado, etc. yummy
Great ideas!

I just ordered a set of those mugs for my sister for Christmas. They are so awesome. Your two are great😁
What are the cups called I wasn't able to find them
That is truly a thing of beauty!

Aw. You made my day! Thanks!
This comment made my day! Thank you so much!

I love sweet chili on spaghetti...try it. I said weird too! But then I tried it both of my grown sons love it too
I've never heard of that, but might have to give it a try. My boys love sweet chili sauce.

Hi, just found your channel today. Joined your membership club, excited to try your meals. Question, how do you make those beautiful labels?
Welcome to the Club! We're so happy to have you. I have good news actually about the labels. We're working on a way to make it so that you can print your own labels in the Club! I love your videos!!! Do you have a list of the recipes used in this video?
If you click on the video description, you’ll find a full list of the recipes.
For the mango cream sauce recipe, can you link the juice and chutney you use? I couldn't find a mango tangerine juice. Thanks
Yay!!!!
TFS💕
how about some smaller freezer meals for small family or students?
Hi Ann-Marie. We do have a number of videos of freezer meals for one or two people that you might find helpful. Here's one: th-cam.com/video/WLCBVXTDz-0/w-d-xo.html
Can you please link the recipe for the sweet Indian chicken for those of us that don't have cookbooks.
🤣 My family has called Worcestershire sauce "rooster juice" ever since I can remember. Not really sure how that name came about but it's a heckuva lot easier to say than Worcestershire.

Wuss-star-shy-ahhh sauce. This might help you pronounce Worcestershire in the Worcestershire sauce!!! 😋 I’m a “pacicific Pom” aka kiwi.
What could you use for the korean beef besides pears? We are not a pear family lol
How was the chicken pot pie filling when thawed? Every time i make my recipe for freezing the filling isn’t as thick as when freshly made.
A little runny. Typically I would make a roux when making it fresh and it's a nice gravy for the pie. That doesn't work well because it separates and gets runny. How do I get the exact recipe. When so click on the links it takes me to another video
Hi Lori, almost all of the links should take you directly to a recipe. The ones for a video just give a more detailed demonstration of how to make them and will have the recipe typed out in the video description. Hope that helps!
Do you ever do reviews over the ones that are new to you? I'm not all the way through the video so I don't know if it's at the end. :) LOL
I post a What's for Dinner? video every week where I show how we use the meals and what our family thought of them so then you can see which ones were a hit and which ones were not so much.
For the mango chicken, do you think Patak's Original Simmer Sauce Mango Curry will work the same?
Good question. I've never seen Patak's Original Simmer Sauce but it sounds like it would be a fair but thinner than the curry paste we use, so maybe cut back on the other liquid in the recipe a bit.
We call it "What's this here sauce".
😂 That's awesome!
Good one!
Just wondering if your coffee was Irish since you were so giggly at the beginning 😉.
We learned the hard way if we were going to have something "extra" in our cup, we had to do it late on day 2. We would miss ingredients, or do our math wrong, which is something we struggle with at the best of times! We are stone cold sober in this video but the energy is high!
I want a friend to freeze meals with. I keep asking my husband and he just gives me a weird looks
Lol. Yep. Lots of husbands don't get it. Mine will go to Costco with me to help me shop sometimes though. And he likes to be a taste-tester. :)
I use paprika app to organize my list and meals and I broke my laptop and so sad without recipes at my finger tips
