The Honda jet is one aircraft I couldn't wait to see. Honda makes jets too not just cars. And this one is a great performer. The Honda Jet is unique in it's class as a light jet because 1) it can be flown by a single pilot (as long as you're type rated with a commercial license).
Honda jet also offers more in range, speed and altitude compared to other light jets. This is one of the few private jets in this category that has a full toilet and wash on board. For a little over $5 million you can fly one of these babies brand new. Used the Honda jet can be had for $4 million.
Honda jet comes in several models, the Elite being the newest. The private jet featured in this video is the APMG Model which comes with larger horizontal stabilizer, improved hydraulics, and more advanced avionics suite in the Garmin G3000. For a cool $250,000 you can get this upgrade.

Love the review Mike! I worked for Honda back in the 2000s and there was a picture of the Honda Jet in a lot their literature. The reason for that was to show that they were not only the largest engine manufacturer in the world but also that they made engines for every possible application; from automotive and marine engines to small engines and aircraft engines. Ever since, I have wanted to see a video on this aircraft, thank you!

A few months ago there were 2 of these beautiful birds here in HAWAII....they did a story about them and what they were going to use them for... don't remember what is was .....but as of this day....we haven't seen them anymore....but BEAUTIFUL they are....

A few years back, it was said that anyone who purchases a jet aircraft in this price category, plan on figuring annual costs of approximately $1 million toward fixed expenses, such as insurance, hanger fees, general maintenance, etc., whether the aircraft is flown or not! Great video and I'm glad you got to experience the Honda Jet Mike. In 2008 I flew to Wisconsin to go to Oshkosh to see it at EAA Airventure 2008 for its first public viewing and was able to go inside and see it up close. Coincidentally it was the first showing of the Icon A5 which was my first time being made aware of that aircraft. I'm looking forward to seeing your flight video of this bird.
This is so beautiful for a small aircraft, I like the small toilet where you can relieve yourself up in the skies when nature calls! I would love to own this beauty, wow!

Thanks for covering Mike. I have been looking at one of these for family use versus continuing on as a. jet card customer. There is an "executive version" of this that replaces that entry seat with a galley which for our use would be nice to have. The sound system is pretty unique inside the cabin too, a series of sound transducers imbedded inside the walls.

I was looking at videos of gulfstream and lear jets and a few comments indicated that Honda jets are tops. so I watched this, and ....wowza... I see Mojo, all excited to showcase this Honda jet. Amazing walkabout, I was just as surprised to not see circuit breakers. Aight, I'm sub'n. 👍🏾👍🏾✈

Even with the cash you still wouldn't be able to fly it on your own. There isn't an insurance company on the planet that would let you get anywhere near the left seat with low hours.

saw my first Honda jet at Oshkosh back in, maybe 2006-7. They did a demo flyover. I was stunned. It was dead quiet... just a bit of a whir in the air. Awesome engineering.
