THE NEWLY ACQUIRED RED LINE TRAIN

20 years ago vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been commissioned.
On 19th Jan 2022, Lagos state Government acquired 2speed train for red line project and on 2nd February 2024 Governor Babajide sanwo Olu announced additional 2 speed train for the redline project as an addition to manage traffic and transportation.

The red line will start work very soon.
It’s on testing mode because it will share same line with the train they have to test it very well

Nice project, but wrong type of cars for intra city commute. These train cars are made for inter state and long distance commute not intra city commute. There are going to be high maintenance cost and wear and tear will come very quickly.
