I am never getting married or having kids, but my sibling has kids so my parents focus their attention on those kids, and belittle me in the process. My entire life my parents kept telling me I was not attractive and relatives told me I would be good for nothing but being an old man's darling, so dating for me was never happy from the jump. So when people ask me why I am single, I tell them this story.
It is such an annoying question, to be asked when are you getting married. Also, and when are you having kids? People should just let people be and mind their own business. My mom and my partner's parents ask all the time and it's just like, let it go and just be happy that we are happy as a couple who doesn't want to get married 😂

I couldn’t care less. Both of my adult children live with someone and I’m also a grandmother, but neither are married.
