Hello how are you so run all the test first alignment and head cleaning. The alignment will give you a printed paper ypu have to put it in the scanner to finish the test. Tgen do the head cleaning after that try print a picture also when printing a picture make sure you change the quality to best
I use HP Smart and when I enter the documents to be scanned it keeps telling me that I have the cover open which leaves me no other choice than to san on the glass top of each page at the time and not multiple from the top. What am I doing wrong?

Hello I have a question I barely bought the same printer I was able to set it up but the only problem is the back tray the wedge does not move far enough for my paper to fit in so I have to jam it in and it still won't let me print cuz the paper gets stuck
The tray feed on my 3830 keeps giving me a message that is an incorrect paper size, says copy does not support envelope number 10, load a supported size of paper in the train continue. I've done that many times and it will not change from this message. It won't print. Help
I found this When you do your word document you do 7.25 width and 5.25 height. When you do the custom envelope size you do the OPPOSITE, you do the width at 5.25 and the height as 7.25
If you need a video I will do it tonight but the way to copy you can use the try on top or you can place what ever you want to copy on the scanner and on the display just put copy and the quantity you want copy. If you can't see the screen you can use the hp app
It does print quicker but it will be in a lower quality. I will look if there a different setting. If you find out something ley me know to ok I will do some research
I found this Click Your Printer's Directory & Stop the Printer Spooler Service. If the Print Spooler is not functioning properly, your HP printer will print slowly. The files in the Printers folder can also prevent your printer from printing. Just delete all entries in the Printers folder to resolve this.
When I hit copy it beeps but nothing happens just the sound like loading in empty tray paper when I hit to copy can someone help me with a comment what Im doing wrong I did exactly as the video but just hitting start black doesn't do anything
Ok before hitting copy make sure you pick a spot where to copy. Like in the auto feeder or on the glass once you choose hit copy if you put it on the glass you will hear a scanning sound if you put it in the auto feeder you will see the paper grab and start scanning

Not true. If you have something on the scanner glass it will still take the document on top. There's two different settings. Scanner glass setting and feeder tray setting. Has nothing to do with not having a document on the glass
When scanning, both will be checked, so if you have a document on the feeder and a document on the glass, yes, it will first take from the feeder, and then it will scan

Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out. Plus haven't been able to set up printing from smartphone yet - either direct or WiFi
I will do a video to show you how it better a video then writing everything ok so about 6 today I will send you a video on how to scan and the different ways to do it

Check the cover where the ink is sometime that stay a bit open and it will give you that error

Mmmm that is weird maybe there is something stuck there not letting it move all the way. Unless the paper is a bit big is it the 8.5×11 paper
