Reggie Watts - TEACH: MUSIC
Give this show a half hour format and a cool supporting cast, and we'd have the best 80s high school sitcom since... the 80s.
YES!
I would happily watch it :D
thanks Matt! maybe add a present day narrator reminiscing on the important lessons he learned as student of Teach
Jash And the Narrator can be Daniel Stern.
This, please. Even like a 15 minute adult swim runtime would be fine, or hey, just make more of these episodes! I need to have my ideas lit.
I'm studying to be a music therapist, and this is basically what we do.
I think you just finalized the sketch
"maybe work at Atari or something. Eh? eh hah huh huh." That is so damn accurate. I have had a teacher look like, while saying this me.
Nicholas Watson I think he said Target instead?
Md Masroor Moazzem
Atari all the way! Space Invaders!
Md Masroor Moazzem definetely atari
I feel like I actually learned something about groove and emotion. Cool.
I'm mad crushin on Reggie
GOLD, Reggie. GOLD.
This was actually really great...I felt the spirit of the music.
Reggie is so awesome and weird and cool, I can't get enough
if only my music class had been like this
What 7 minutes long?
whynottalklikeapirat
Lol if it's that awesome then sure
Just the look at the beginning is Gold.
The theme is the best part of this show.
Not that the show is bad. Just that the theme is exemplary.
That was all one take.
this guy is a better teach than that other teach i had back in skooling's school for the larger males and pugs. i hope he can teach my kids when i have those kids.
To be taught any lesson from him on the subject of music would be an honor.
i had a music teacher like this once
lucky woman you are Evans
This video is one of my all time favorites
I keep coming back to rewatch 😆
"you never know who's gonna be the band who performs in the opening sequence
and it's probably
Bauhaus...
okay..cool."
not even joking the "he's your teach" song has been stuck on my head for 2 ears. so much so that I have a name for these things, I call them "earbugs".
I mean the word earworm already exists, you really think you invented that? It does bang tho
Music is where Reggie really shines.. ^_^
"No one does it better then you do"
Very reminiscent of School of Rock but still awesome! I really hope Reggie revisits these teachers for a 2nd season.
anybody else feel sorry for the haters who "just can't understand" Mr. Watts' genius?I spent 7 genuine minutes dying of laughter.
This really is a masterpiece
Was waiting for the Music episode of Teach. Was not disappointed!
intro music is perfect
thanks Ryan, you're welcome to listen to it any time you like on our soundcloud page
This is really great. I love how understated it is, like it's being guided by very competent direction that knows that you can entertain and do a lot by holding back at the same time.
That was epic. The boy on the right definitely won the drum fight. ^_^
"Maybe work at Atari or something huh" lmao

This guy...
Awesomeness
Mannn...only the Legendary Reggie Watts can.
This is easily the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while. Reggie is such an amazing dude
This show has a Strangers With Candy vibe. I love it!
These are amazingly hilarious!!! Well done Reggie, keep em coming!
Best episode of the series so far.
HAHA "and it's probably Bauhaus... okay cool."
i fuckin lost it for a good 4 minutes when it zoomed into his yearbook photo
Awesome teaching Reggie. You have what it takes to keep the kids focused.
Thanks, Teach!
Best music class I ever seen! Awesome Job
clicking like before the title is over....WORTH IT
I fell asleep before the end of The Hunger and missed that song. Dang. Kind ties it all together.
omg it's finally here! ive been waiting for this video all month!
So it seems he has found one of the few schools left that still have a music program. Support the arts in public schools! Love the video!
that was so freaking awesome. when i got to the end of the video i thought to myself there is no way that was 7 minutes already, it was excellent good job keep doing what you do reggie cuz we love it!
I really really really want more of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reggie Watts Your videos are amazing
LOL. "......And its probably Bauhaus "
Every classroom has that same fucking Dr.seuss poster
Why not?
VoltageTHD Its enraging.
Mr watts sir... you are awesome
This should really be a tv show. The intro song is amazing
This reminds of my music lessons in high school when we played African drums. It was great fun! 😁
I love this series
Best one yet I think! Looking forward to more :)
This is not a bad music lesson at all. There's a lot of wisdom and thoughtfulness here.
These are great, I'm hyped for the next one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this
I keep coming back for that outro lmao, I wish it was a full song so much.
I super appreciate your amalgam of cells and things. You make a great whole.
I love you MR Watts!
WOOHOO! been waiting for this! Thanks Reggie *computer high five*
I can see that you're not a spaz, now you know that about yourself.
Loving the theme song. Wish this guy was my teacher. Hunger reference top notch.
I wish I had a music teacher like this!!
Hes actually a good music teacher
Really enjoy to see the non electronic music side of reggie
Gotta love teach.
Loved The Hunger credits song!
I remember xylophones, marimbas, and drums from when I was kid :)
I fucking love you Reggie, haha. Always give me a good laugh when I need it, or maybe when I don't. But no time is a bad time to laugh...except at a funeral...or court, actually nevermind. Thanks Reggie Watts!
Reggie just turned into Bill Cosby for a bit during the drum part..
lol
This is partly hilarious and partly scary, knowing that it's probably closer than we'd like to admit to the truth how our childrens' teachers will be like...
No
Where can I get the full version of the theme song? It is outstanding
Please for the love of god make more of these.
James Mizen i would love him as a music teacher! :D
I love this intro song.
This man is awesome
Don't know how to describe this. I feel good now.
This is actually an excellent music lesson.
i need this man in my school!
Reggie for Pres!
this is the future. thank you, teach. i am now a cultured musician.
i wish i had teachers like this.
your awesome reggie
Man...this reminds me of the American education system so much. XD
I wish I had had you as a teacher.
Did he just combine the Bachelor with all the vampire themed movies? 5:26 lololol
I can't believe you did a Bud Light commercial before you did a Robitussen Cough Syrup commercial.
Oh....hey, guys. Another great episode. Kinda feel like there should be a "Teach is filmed before a live studio audience" disclaimer right after the title song...anyone feel me on that?
Reggie = Genius
I love how the extras don't even seem to be in on the script(assuming there even is one...and Reggie isn't winging it, which he probably is). Hilarious... Reggie Rocks.
Fuck yea, teach you so cray
I see Reggie's contribution here as a way for people who aren't really suited to teach to realize that they should get out of it. Reggie is brilliant, of course, but his brilliance is in showing students there is a way forward projecting from themselves.
That beat at the end ( minus the vocals) really would suit a vampire horror flick
My favorite scene from Strangers With Candy. haha
That dude with the glasses and green shirt was ready to rock.
Perfect
So entertaining.
Brilliant. Love the way you shoot these Reggie, do you use the pocket cinema cam?
In the intro, close up on the basketball hoop, and no ball goes through... So funny and perceptive.
Well this is surprisingly accurate. Had a few bonkers teachers that made us do whatever at music school.
