I’ve never been in the army. This marching to Colonel Bogey with the brass band I simply love it and it sends chills down my spine ❤❤❤❤❤
Kind of makes you want to join up. The military used to use the bands and parades as recruiting tools.
ユーフォニウムは、鮮やかな心地よいハーモニーですね。日本から、応援しますよ。
I love that magnificent band playing
This American has always said that you Brits are second to none when it comes to pomp and ceremonial activity
Has to be said we've had centuries of practice. If we haven't got it right by now we never will
Yup
I treasure my days with the marching band.
I have seen many brilliant performances of this march over the years, by both civilian and military bands from many countries, but this is one of the few where every musician is in perfect time, every member of the band and the rest of the company are in perfect step and all are on the move at a standard quick march. Well done HM marines.❤
I don't know the significance of that one drummer draped in a tiger skin, but I DO know it is damn cool & impressive!
My husband and I were in a marching band years ago, he played the bass drum. We used to keep the tiger skin on the back of our setee. I played the cornet.❤️
The crowd restraining smiles, thinking of the LYRICS of the Colonel Bogey March!
Love this video! I play it at least once daily.
"The Bridge on the River Kwi" Alex Guiness was great in this movie and this march made the whole thing much better. One of the best movies ever!
Höre ich immer wieder gern.Erinnert mich an meine Bundeswehrzeit.Der Soldat der vorn mit dem grünen Barett mitmaschiert, den habe ich in Bergenhohne bei einer Natoübung kennengelernt. Noch eins The Royal Marines sind die besten.LG F.E-mann.
I loved this when I watched this three years ago. And Utube recommended it to me again just now. And I still love it ! 😀
Who else whistled the whole tune and pictured Sir Alec Guinness and worn out army boots?😆
I whistled. Plenty of it.
Great music by my distant relative. He was also the bandmaster of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
Kenneth Alford was a pen name.@@harelaw3487
From the best military band in the world!
Masa dulu aku member band Sekolah Alam Shah 1983 main trumpet main lagu ni marching across Dataran Merdeka. Klasik
Smartness, precision, colourful, masterful and tuneful. Evokes memories of fallen heroes. Reminds one of Bridge on River Kwai movie with Alec Guinness!
What a beautiful arrangement of that tune!
Excellent, especially the drum line.
Congratulations for this performance chaps ! Well done !
Bro nobody’s gonna talk about the bass drummers badass tiger poncho?
Awesome. Impressive. The whole band, drums and brass. I'm never tired of listening and watching them march. The British step is one of the most beautiful steps in the world, if not the most beautiful indeed. I guess it's the most beautiful. There's something in it that's much more impressive than, and beats the goose step with a margin.

I will remember this music from Bridge on the River Kwai til I pass. Thanks. Good on ya mate.
Perdí la cuenta de las veces que he visto. Me encanta la marcha y me agradó mucho el contrapunto y el sonido de los bombardinos. Extrañe la tuba, pero igual no me canso de verlo. Me encantaría verlo en vivo.
