- Maybe you loved the new Lion King, maybe you didn't. Perhaps you felt the songs were lacking, though you may have thought they were a fresh new take on the classics. Elton John wasn't a fan. Regardless of what you thought of the songs, if one thing is for sure, Scar didn't get nearly enough time to sing his evil ditty, so I've rearranged it somewhat to create a version that he himself would be prepared for!

I like it, but they should have darkened his mane a little bit to make it look even more like Scar.

Heck. The remake would have been fine if it was about his backstory. Fully going over why he hates Mufasa and why Scar wants so badly to be King (Maybe have it like that Theory and have Scar be from a different pride who's adopted into Mufasa's Family).
Beyond a few lame sentences about "I'll never be King" or any of that jazz.
Just don't make it Maleficent. Where they actually made the Villain a good guy. Disregarding the fact that their still an immoral jackass who hates everyone with a passion and wants to see everything good in the world be destroyed.

Actually those are tiger noises, as with most big cat movies. Lions don't sound like that.
Almost like Shenzi's clan and Zira's Outsiders have joined forces.
So definitely more Hyenas.
This version of Scar looks great.
With the roars as scar is singing, it sounds like he sang this when he won and the lions of pride rock are praising their new king and so are the hyenas.
I imagined it as the Hyenas and the Outsiders praising Scar
THAT is Scar should have appeared in the film, cunning and menacing. The Lion King is fantasy, so c'mon Disney, Be Prepared to run with it!
I think this sounds a lot better, but I think could use more African music into it. Other than that, 10/10

@@savythenillerwaffer in the animated version you could hear the African influence, this version instrumental is menacing but not rich like the animated, and feels off from the other pieces. There's no African influences besides the chanting and doesn't fit

It's like the original scene from The Lion King 2019 but scar jumps off of the rock and lands on his feet while saying BE PREPAAAAARED. And then he and the hyenas start running toward the pride lands while singing the second verse. And then at the final "be prepared" that's when they get to the pride lands

The music was all over the place, but I can see where you're going with this, and I like it. If they did it this way, I agree that it would have been a lot more better.
It kinda feels like a duet between 1994 scar and 2019 scar

I think this is what lacked in the remake,
"Creativity" the song could be much more better, if they put their time into make every scene great, and intense, I gotta say you did awesome job remaking this song, with little more touch or editing your remix is going to be perfect

Yes I 100% agree, this song in the movie would have been 1,000 times better if it was done THIS way! Right here I felt like it was an epic orchestra which was so enjoyable. Wonderful job Elliot on this edited version. Another Lion King remake but have it done this way with a bang! Lot of time, and LOT of effort! :D

That's the Scar we all know and love
The only missing part in the 2019 BE PREPARED was the sinister laughter of Scar and nothing else, Chiwetel Ejiofor , Ashish Vidhyarthi and Jagapathi Babu are the best voice actors for Scar(Ashish Vidhyarthi voiced Scar in the Hindi version and Jagapathi Babu voiced Scar in the Telugu version)

I must admit, this is pretty much topped the 2019 one, but yo! 1:56-2:19 where on earth did you get this part?
They made their own sounds, beat and melody and used scar from the original movie to carry out the singing.
I think the hyena sounds are from the BBC clip where Red is fighting a hyena clan and then the "lion" sounds are stock tiger sounds.

well i have mixed feelings for the song in the movie. but what i like about it is how its version sounds. Sounds like a pirates' song. Cinematic too. Right on tho!

Yo just because it sure doesn't mean it's bad it's just there's a huge issue with the short part and that shouldn't automatically make it bad that's just a little nitpick in something that they should have put in the original

Once the World to Come is upon us and the timeline repeats itself much better and greater than whatever was over here per now, this is the kind of imagery that should be for creating each of the characters in the live action Lion King.
well yes I think when I d=first saw it I thought yeah it was too short but in the 2019 version I don't think scare is trying to convince them like in the original it was different I think but I think even in Aladdin as well we could have had prince Ali reprise as well I didn't think the jafar was quite as evil as the original what does everyone else think

*more cunning and manipulative:* Jeremy Irons acted humorously and shy towards James Earl Jones and Rowan Atkinson and pretended to be a cool friendly uncle to Jonathan Taylor Thomas to not raise suspicion of his evil nature. Chiwetel Ejofor has an omnious look when talking to James Earl Jones and John Oliver, he acts that way even when he meets Simba. This Scar is mean and threatening to everyone around him and just makes clear he's evil.
*more convincing and more villainous boss:* Jeremy Irons convinced Hyenas so much earlier, he did promised them “if you stick with me, you'll be rewarded and never go hungry again” and he did even bringen them food to get their loyalty, he was also a very abusive boss towards his 3 henchmen. Chiwetel Ejofor suddenly entered in their den the first time they met and started offend then and acting like he's their boss and ask an offer in the late moment.
*more menacing and villainous:* Jeremy Irons had the Satan voice and used it at least when necessary. Chiwetel Ejofor has a teenager-like anger.
*more villainous look:* 1994 Scar's design had green-malicious eyes, demonic expression and dark full mane while 2019 Scar's design is just a gaunt and dirty lion with scrappy mane.
