I'm definitely gonna try this build but one thing I already know from using wavesplitter this season is that it doesn't get the anti-barrier affect from volatile rounds since it already has inherent overload. You would still need to run something for anti-barrier or unstoppable, which ever you need. I've been using retrofit escapade in my heavy slot along with wavesplitter the combo is amazing lol.😅
I’ve been running this build on my Titan in PVE since Plunder with some changes made when Lightfall dropped, and I usually run Offensive Bulwark for the extra fragment slot since the healing is so powerful and higher end content deals so much damage that the overshields tend to not be very useful. I’ve not used it in PVP yet since I always felt like Trace Rifles just don’t feel good to use there… but now you’ve convinced me otherwise.
for the hunter build. i would recommend gyfalconers for next season as any void buff kills grants you invis to which you chain volatile when you out come out of invis. i’ve been using it and the orb creation is insane. in an average defiant battle ground i create about 100 orbs per run
holy mother of void based destruction. I though the vow pulse was the ace for my hunter void builds but this.... this is a whole other level of insanity.
Got an exotic idea, much as you don't really take them, inspired by Conditional Finality. Name: Fluxweave 180 RPM Scout Intrinsic Trait: Absence/Omnipotence- Fires both Strand and Void damage types. Alternate Weapon Action swaps between them. Exotic Trait: Hollow Threads - After getting kills with an specific damage type, the weapon gains a temporary buff that affects the opposite damage type when you swap to that damage type. Void- Fires larger, heavy rounds (120 RPM Base Damage + 20% buff) that are Volatile. Strand- Fires quicker(260 RPM Base Damage + 20% Buff), lighter rounds that Unravel. *These effects are from Unraveling and Volatile Rounds, making this strong against Barrier Champs.*
this reminds me of my own wavesplitter build, which uses the gryfalcons instead as i originally made it last season. similar effects, it just is basically future-proofed once our artifact mods go away unless bungee decides to rework something. which they hopefully don't do if they ever see this video. also thanks for sharing that Ignite build a while back. i adapted it to work in pve and it carried me through most raids and while my hunter was under-leveled for stuff.

Where can you find the transparent verb icons?
Wavesplitter has been on my radar since day one of lightfall, the switch to orbs again really gave wavesplitter the bump it needed in power
I need to save this. I'm already running a similar build, but I'm gonna try to tweak it a bit using this as a guideline. Thanks again, TDT.
Any tips for the other mods to put in the slots for the armor?
The editing in this video is superb. Could you look into making more of these sorts of videos?
Hadn't thought of using it for PvP. Thanks for the recommendation!
Can we get a Dim link?🤔
Finally starting to wrap my brain around builds and abilities. You’ve been a big help recently 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Appreciate you taking the time to show us this build 👍
Nice vid, I've been using trace rifles recently and this one is next on the list!
ive been wondering, why not use vortex grenades with fragment of undermining? since the last fragment slot is open anyway
Hmmm, looks nice! Do you have a DIM for it? Specifically for warlock
for the hunter build. i would recommend gyfalconers for next season as any void buff kills grants you invis to which you chain volatile when you out come out of invis. i’ve been using it and the orb creation is insane. in an average defiant battle ground i create about 100 orbs per run
Never gotten into the build side of Destiny, but Ima start! Great video!
Can I see what Titan subclass details there are?
does sect of insight only give your allies orbs or does it give you and your allies orbs?
I'm here for the burritos dog, but that's a great video.
Also I'd love to see another sweet business build made by you!!!
holy mother of void based destruction. I though the vow pulse was the ace for my hunter void builds but this.... this is a whole other level of insanity.
This what I’m talking about. Love your builds!
Keep up the content. Really enjoy all your destiny videos
Awesome commentary..clear and concise ...Thanks...
Got an exotic idea, much as you don't really take them, inspired by Conditional Finality.
Name: Fluxweave
180 RPM Scout
Intrinsic Trait: Absence/Omnipotence- Fires both Strand and Void damage types.
“Honey, we have an Immortal user, take out the void verbs”
Nice video! I've been running my void hunter and just cannot seem to go with anything else at the moment.
an absolute unit! My weekend is looking fun!
this reminds me of my own wavesplitter build, which uses the gryfalcons instead as i originally made it last season. similar effects, it just is basically future-proofed once our artifact mods go away unless bungee decides to rework something. which they hopefully don't do if they ever see this video. also thanks for sharing that Ignite build a while back. i adapted it to work in pve and it carried me through most raids and while my hunter was under-leveled for stuff.
This build on hunter made me enjoy dungeons and made my friend want to drag me into trials, what have you done to me?
Nice build I'll have to check it out! Thanks. Have a great day!
What’s the mods for the rest of the armor pieces
This looks amazing, but what would be a good substitute for wavesplitter?
Do you have the DIM loadout link?
a lot of fun in crucible with this build. I had a rift every 20 seconds or so, makes me wonder what havoc I could bestow upon the meta masses with an aeon/arc soul build.
Definitely gonna try this out and see. I have been using a void, devour, volatile, repulsor brace build for quite a while so we'll see how this stacks up
great build! Thank you very much!
Thanks for the build TDT!
Was looking for a new hunter build, lookin good! Any Strand builds out there?
