      We had a Dutch Coy cdr in 42 then went W Coy and eventually Commandant Dutch Marine Corps. Obviously selected as a potential prospect for this slot to have a view of both Corps. Guess they made the right choice. i think so he was a great bloke.

    I did 6 Winter deployments a Royal Marine, Marine LCpl and Cpl in a Rifle company. The real winters the real position of knowing winter as a solider in a tent sheet and all you carried was all you had in very extreme conditions..

      @@Hants_Prints Royal Marines got SA80 rifle in 1985. These guys have L1A1 rifles. Do the numbers and check your own maths.
