Just found almost new 450w rear speakers for my 2005 Honda Accord. Cost $5 for the pair, love the sound. I rarely buy car related parts from any store unless it's necessary due to wear.
Nice video.! Very straight forward. Replaced my daughter's rears today. Sucks that they don't put the correct adapters in the box with the newer speakers
I would always find your channel on certain fix it videos I search up for my 4cly. I just got a v6 version of my 4cly a while ago. It sucks that I can't watch your 4cly videos anymore haha, but I came to watch this video because the speakers blew out in my v6. After looking at your video I think I'm just going to swap the rear subwoofers from the 4cly to the v6. After you said the part about it being harder to un bolt the little 8mm's for the coupes because of the back window, I was like "shit" 🤦🏻♂️ cause both of my 6th gens are coupes lmao. Don't know if you remember my comments on your past videos, but your videos helped me work on my cars. Thanks bro
So the rear speakers I tried swapping from the 4cilly don't work at all. I had orderd the exact audio harmony speaker you had gotten, I also bought the sensor cables aswell. Both of them should be here today 🤝🏻
Thanks bro! Love your videos. I got a question...….I pulled down the back seat in my 2001 Accord and underneath the carpet is one skinny black wire and two red wires inside the black protective cover, These wires look like they go under the middle of the back seat and maybe towards the front of the car, maybe radio? Any ideas what these wires are for?
hey bro, i just watched your video and it was great. I was wondering if you can share the name of your rear speakers with me. and if you could, release a video that demonstrates your new speakers

Good video man. How do you remove the 2 or 3 bolts that are located right behind the rear speakers? Especially the plastic covers that cover the bolts. I don’t even know the name for them, but they are in your video went your in the interior. Also, there is one in the middle and 2 behind each speaker. I have a 2000 Accord coupe and I’m trying to get the plastic covers off of them, but I can’t. Any advice I would really appreciate, thank you.
I don’t no if is the same for the coupe but to remove the cover you have to remove te screws under the trunk to be able to remove the covers after that you need a 1/8 ratchet to remove the bolts because in the coupe is very small space because the glass is on your way
Was just curious, im going to see if mine are aftermarket or not, its always sound REALLY good but all I've ever heard is that these are trash speakers that have no power and sound bad
Amps are nice to have but not really necessary if your stereo is decent. A good stereo produces low enough distortion, good speakers will sound just fine.
Best to reuse original covers on this application for sure. I will be replacing all 4 of my speakers here real soon, and even if I could use replacement covers, I won't. Why advertise? If people can't see what you got in there, they're less likely to try and steal em. Make them think you're still using those crap factory speakers that they won't want... not even worth the effort.
@@brangthuhyang6945 I ended up replacing all 4 factory speakers, and had to slightly modify the front speaker holders for the replacements... no big issue, all sounds much better. I have no idea about the carpet, I never had to mess with mine. The biggest problem I had was where to mount the new amplifier, and that ended up under the front passenger seat, didn't wanna run all the wiring in the trunk... too much trouble.
Y'all Spanish people always know how to work on the Honda and I appreciate it because it shows me the right way thank you my friend
😂
I have to replace front and back speakers on my 2001.. Thanks for the video...

Nice, I know!
Nice video! Replacing mines today. Thanks for the quick and easy tutorial! 👍🏻
No problem
@Exposing the Illuminati and Satanism Yes it was very easy. The sound is much better than the stock ones. More bass and treble.
Honda Accord vehicles from 1998 - 2002 share the same size speakers.
6.5'' Front doors and 6x9'' rear back
you rock dude! clear and straight information! would love to see you upgrade that Accords audio systems even more!
Thanks buddy

Thanks bro, I’m not sure but I think those are radio!! Follow the and if they go to the rear speakers that’s what it is, but don’t quote me on that.
Hola¡ al colocar los protectores originales les hiciste alguna adaptacion? Por los tweeters que tiene la bocina nueva o ajustan sin problemas?

So having some issues with the trunk tension rods hitting the magnets as the trunk opens and closes. You have any issues with that?
No, never had any issues with that
Hell yea bro good looking thanks for the video..
Only have 1 rear speaker working need a few more :-)
Was just curious, im going to see if mine are aftermarket or not, its always sound REALLY good but all I've ever heard is that these are trash speakers that have no power and sound bad
Where did you get those speakers from???
Ebay
Gotcha! I’ll let you know how it goes.
Ok
Thanks sir
No problem
Is it the same as a 1995 accord ? Or different steps
Is the same steps, but check if you have to get them out from the trunk or pull them out from inside of the car
Thanks bro
No problem bro
What cables did you use ???
Metra 72-7800 Speaker Connector Harnesses for Select Honda Vehicles www.amazon.com/dp/B0002BEPJY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_m2gLFbP0XYW7P
OMG, who, or maybe - what, tore the metal frame of that nice BOSE speaker???
Great video!
Thanks
Man I'm trying to put the speaker grill back on but I can't get the circular thing back in the carpet hole if that makes any sense lol.
You have to put the screws from the trunk
I couldn't stay with stock covers idk what to do lol
You don't have to add an amp for better sound?
My old speakers were bad I’m just getting the sound like before, I’m not into big sound systems in a car
Amps are nice to have but not really necessary if your stereo is decent. A good stereo produces low enough distortion, good speakers will sound just fine.

My factory covers won't fit the after market. I'm gonna tint the windows any way so hopefully that helps avoid theft. Any ideas on fixing the carpet?
