I just bought a pair of very humble shabby looking suede men’s Chelsea boots that I wanted to rehab and resell. Turns out they are $700 shoes and the previous owner just either didn’t understand how to take care of suede or didn’t want to. I picked them up for $15, cleaned them up nicely, and plan on reselling for $200+! They are John Varvatos, which I’ve never heard of before.

can't forget nike! if you find jordans, nike dunks, or any vapormaxes and air max, they always do good. Even older running nikes from before 2014 are kind of in style on certain apps, and go for at least $25.

I know I'm watching this late but I just found your channel! Thank you! However, you crushed me when you said No. 6 is a great brand worth about $100. I saw that brand last time i sourced and thought it had to be a cheap brand not worth even looking up. I guess you live and you learn. Shoes are my absolute favorite thing to sale, photograph and source!! I could easily have an entire closet of just shoes. Brands I like are Chacos, Dansko, Sam Edleman, Salvatore Ferragamo, Cole Haan, Olukai, Mephisto & Franco Sarto just to name a few. Thx so much!!

Thanks for the video. I'm starting to sell women's shoes but as a guy its a bit overwhelming to learn the different types of shoes (clogs, flats, heels, wedges, mules, etc) and also learn all the item specifics like for heels the type of heels (cuban, block, French, stilletto, kitten, etc) would be nice if you could make a video to help new sellers on all that. It might be easy for you but it's taken me a few hours to learn things like that. I'm learning the different types of dresses now.

Thank-you so much! I have learned of brands I’ve never heard of. What about Born and Clark’s? I know that they are not high end shoes…..but good “bread and butter” ones….depending on the style. There are women (and I know a few of them), that only wear Clark’s. Also the Born leather boats have done well for me.

Two weeks ago I found a pair of black Steve Madden boots and I LEFT THEM😭 because they weren't my size and were $25 and I was like eh too expensive.. biggest regret😭
J. Crew is my top seller because I find a lot and I focus on more current pieces. I do love jeans because theyre so easy to photo, and will sell great year round. Theyre also closet staples that are worn repeatedly, and can be justified spending more on.
Lululemon, Theory, L.L. Bean and Madewell follow along in top sellers. It really depends on what you find in your area too 😊

Great info, a few brands I did not know. I totally agree about Colabs adding value. I do well with Vans Colabs which I come across often. Crocs won't make me a lot but sell fast. Any decent leather western boot sells for me... Ariat, Frye, Tony Lama, Justins Boots, Lucchese & Tecovas are all ones I'd pay up for.

How do you handle shipping costs?
Do you have any suggestions for resources that authenticate shoes like Golden Goose? I actually found a couple pairs at my bins, but I suspect they are both fake. I've tried looking up online how to tell if they're fake but like 80% of it looks really good, and then the other 20% I'm just not sure, which leads me to believe they're fake. That's my biggest struggle with purses and shoes is there's so many fakes. 😫
