it's super easy! Just keep an eye on it and make sure the fittings aren't leaking. Don't over tighten or that can cause a leak too!!!

you can do it!!! Just double check the connections when you run a load to make sure it's not leaking!
Is there a such thing as an unreplaceable hose? Because mine came in the washing machine already. There is no clamps that I can see. But I need to extend the hose.
hmmm. there's got to be a panel on the back to access the connection point. There's no way it can't be replaced just might be a special one specific to your machine but even that I doubt

Is 8 ft too long?? My current hose is 5 ft and I can’t for the life of me find another 5ft or even a 6 ft one
Depends on your setup. My washer is on the left side but the drain is far over on the right wall so I need a long hose to reach. The hose that I used even though it is 8 feet long, can be cut down. The curved plastic part that goes into the wall just snaps around the hose, so you could take that off, cut the hose shorter, and reattach it.
I didn't have any problem finding 5 or 6 foot ones on Amazon. I just typed in "washing machine drain hose 5ft" in the Amazon search bar and found one easily. Also found 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 13ft, 16ft. They come in lots of lengths!

If you're not referring to amazon and maybe in a local store you couldn't find one, check to see if it has that removable plastic curved part on it because as I mentioned earlier those can be cut down to any size you need.
