Hi Toby it's Andrew (my dad is buying your kart) just wanted to say congrats on the win today at buckmore! I came 2nd at Tamworth and was only beaten by Danny Gould (not sure if you know him, he is very fast) but that was my best result at Tamworth so far! Just been looking forward to getting in the 2 stroke :D
Thanks mate, appreciate it:) No i haven't done any Inkart races for a long time, we moved up to (what was called Easykart) but is now called Birel ART UK Series. It was quite a jump forward from Inkart as it was a full on National Championship and the karts were ALOT quicker. But we manged to win the Junior championship last season, so that gave me free entry into the Ginetta scholarship.Thats why we went for the test day, almost to prepare us for the scholarship, which really worked and helped us come second:) Thanks again mate.
Toby Goodman Racing the problem is that it's about my tenth time on the national circuit, although I'm still beating most of the drivers that have been doing it since they were 8. Also I beat the north circuit junior lap record on my first ever time on the track
what was you doing in terms of curbs, when you hit them are you keeping the throttle flat? and what curbs are you recomend taking.... also a good lap is?

Are You running a no clutch sequential gearing system?
yes, on the upshifts it's just a lift off the throttle. You do need to use the clutch to pull away though.

yeah keep the throttle flat through them. They are flatter than they look on video so they don't unsettle the car.

@Kieran Fuller You have to with the Ginetta. The car will not allow you to upshift unless you lift the throttle:)
