1. Sora - I like Sora because he is that happy, goofy Disney Protagonist that is never boring and has a lot of personality. 2. Riku - Riku has a redemption arc and plus he has an Iroh (Mickey). 3. Axel - He is a very fun character and a cool design. 4. Roxas - Saddest story of all and much more compelling story arc. 5. Aqua - Waifu, sacrificed herself to save Terra making her selfless and she was the "key" to finding Ventus.

My own top 5: 5. Riku - He's got what is basically the series's best sub-arc. His story of falling and then slowly rising up again is among the better aspects of the series, and it definitely redeems him in my eyes after being basically a jealous dick in KH1. 4. Xehanort - Two words: Leonard Nimoy. (Although I do think both the late Rutger Hauer and Christopher Lloyd also did some very good spins on their own takes.) 3. The Master of Masters - My god, do I love this bastard. Ray Chase goes absolutely overboard with him, and I love it. That sheer eccentric energy, and the shade of magnificent bastardry that goes with it, is something else. 2. Kairi - Surprising, I know, but I've always liked girls who are headstrong and not afraid to speak their minds. I will agree that her handling across the series hasn't been that great, but her personality draws me towards her, and I think she still has a lot of untapped potential, as the manga adaptations show. Also, I ship Sokai to death, fite me. 1. Sora - The hero. What else do I need? He's a pretty solid protagonist in terms of characterization, if a bit spotty on occasions (in CoM, that was pretty much justified; in DDD, less so). But I do like his general "happy-go-lucky, yet willing to face death for the ones he cherish most" attitude.
Nice list! I agree with you I think Hauer and Lloyd both did a great job in their own unique way. I think Hauer excelled in dialogue and Lloyd excelled in battle quotes and screaming. Put them together we have the closest thing to Nimoy as we can probably get to.

3:05 actually, axel still kinda is an anti-hero. same with roxas and to a lesser extent xion. they fought against xehanort's forces for their own reasons. not once have they expressed concern over protecting light or defeating darkness. they most likely don't even care about it since they use both light and darkness as they please. they prioritize themselves over the greater good, and that's *GREAT.* we have a whopping 10 other main characters who do care about light, goodness, and all that other crap. RAX are a breath of fresh air. I swear I'll lose my freaking mind if I'm stuck with said 10 characters who all think the same.

Kingdom Hearts games get better as time goes on. When KH3 came out, everybody liked it. Then everyone hated on it until remind came out. Then everyone like remind and hated it all throughout the summer. Now I’m noticing people are starting to like KH3 as an overall package more. But anyway on my original point I think looking back on the games after a while provides some good insight. I’m glad you’re enjoying KH3, hope the 100% goes well!

This vid is a little late, seeing as the most recent game came out 2 years ago. Awesome vid tho I've been grinding to get 100% on kh3.

I finally did it
