So cool that there’s a group just for the old fords. There’s the old guy who could or did buy there truck new. Then there’s the new guy saving them or passing them onto someone who’s doesn’t know the right person to find these classic’s. Sweet.
Thank both of you for all you do. You guys make it cool to keep the soul of these vehicles alive. Furthermore u make a simpler time and the origins stay true and cool again. So thank you both for displaying what is possible with good old fashioned labor and love. Just like everything used to be made. Yall r the best.
you always find the coolest old and rare ford trucks! I have a really bad soft spot for the older the better 4x4 trucks. I love fords about the most but I love pretty much anything that is cool. thanks soloman for the video these are really awesome!
This needs some either 15 or 16x10 slotted aluminum wheels and white letter tires. Just clear coat it. That way you can leave it unlocked, no one will mess with it.
@@FordEra the coyote 5.0 litre ford motor is just a 302 small block with 4 valve cylinder heads on a dyno you would be lucky if it puts out 250 horse...in a build like this I would have enlisted a 390 or 429 bigger cylinder bores and longer piston stroke for more torque
Patina is what happens to the surface of metals, produced by oxidation over a long period. according to the dictionary. there is ZERO rust involved in patina.
@@FordEra Oxidation is the general chemical reaction of losing 1 or more electrons in an atom, molecule or ion, however, rust is an oxidation reaction only when iron reacts with water and oxygen. There are different colors of rusts, so it is important to know the difference so you can treat them correctly. Many patinas are toxic and corrosive, people touching those surfaces may cause dermatitis.
@russellweber4334 When I first read that I thought it said demencia not dermatitis... Then I thought joe biden's corvette must have had patina before it was painted..😂

I would give it a ok paint job, just to save it from further rust. I would restore the frame to keep the rust at bay.
The rust is here to stay. It’s apart of the aesthetic
🙏
Great rifle rack 2a nice

This is a stunning truck. Does Duke or his wife want to sell it? Do you happen to know anyone who might be selling a slick side crew cab?
There's only one problem with it. It isn't mine, lol.

The term patina is actually rust on a truck. That truck has a nice setup making it off road capable.
