Hey mate, great to read about your interest in the car! This specific one is the development car of Werk96. many things are not yet available and some things are not in its final form on the car in the Video, so I kept it very basic with the informations. Werk96 has now a new Instagram Account where they post upgrades and informations about the car. make sure to follow them @werk96_automotive (they are also linked in the description) Engine has as far as I know a Werk96 own developed Crankshaft aswell as the increase in displacement to 4.1l, The upcoming 4.3l will have a higher redline of around 8.000 rpm and of course even more size. Short shifter kits are already available as far as I know and the custom Shifter and instrument cluster are Werk96's own design. But I don't know when they will be finalized and available. Suspension is also a custom one for the Werk96 cars, there are some reels in the story on their Instagram account in German about the development of the suspension. It is based on the KW V3 Coilovers and tweaked by Werk96 together with PEMAC Fahrzeugtechnik. hope this answers some of your questions. make sure to follow Werk96 to get more insights
Owned a black with savan interior 1999 C2 coupe for eight years. I could never get into the looks of the 996 and to be honest, black is my least favorite color but I got a good deal on it. I also felt like the 3.4L was going to grenade every time I drove it. Sold it last year for a 1982 911 SC which I love so much more. I do like I better it in this silver with these rims and with a robust engine replacement you've resolved many of the shortcomings of the platform but the question becomes how much money to invest in a 996 to fix what Porsche messed up. I hit nervana with the 1982 911 SC I have now. Sure it's slower but for me it is the pure air cooled essence of the 911 I loved as a kid.
sounds like a really great car mate! I love driving older cars aswell. they need to be driven properly and it takes some time to master the car. and they give a whole different feeling to a more modern car. for me, the Werk96 really hit that perfect spot in between. I had so much fun with it and it felt so capable even in comparison to very fast and modern cars, meanwhile it still needs a driver that knows what he's doing to really extract proper performance.
To be honest, up until now I've been looking at your videos as cheaper, lower quality copy of Cars with Luke. But wow, you surpassed him I think, this was awesome indeed. Also, you shift better than a PDK 😄
Thanks mate, and well… I thought about that from the very start of the Channel. I‘m a freelance photographer and have been behind the camera for other TH-camrs a few times, I’m a car fanatic and deep into Porsches… If I Film anything in a professional way, I will get compared especially to Luke. Engine has as far as I know a Werk96 own developed Crankshaft aswell as the increase in displacement to 4.1l, The upcoming 4.3l will have a higher redline of around 8.000 rpm and of course even more size.
I'm in awe 😮
Love the fact it looks stock to the untrained eye.
Absolut geil :-D Understatement pur, mega 👌 erinnert mich etwas an den Koro Porsche aus Heilbronn
Very nice and good to see someone revving the crap out of it for a change instead of polishing.
I love raving so much mate ! I need that higher rpms, even if its sometime Pointless to go in such a low gear 😅
Absolutely insane build! 😍 Great filming!
Its such a fun and cool car. Insanely enjoyable to drive 👌
The video, the car, the noise. Wonderful stuff!
Thank you :) I love the noise!
Wie immer ein grandioses Video👌
Danke dir 😊✌️
To be honest, up until now I've been looking at your videos as cheaper, lower quality copy of Cars with Luke. But wow, you surpassed him I think, this was awesome indeed. Also, you shift better than a PDK 😄
Thanks mate, and well… I thought about that from the very start of the Channel. I‘m a freelance photographer and have been behind the camera for other TH-camrs a few times, I’m a car fanatic and deep into Porsches… If I Film anything in a professional way, I will get compared especially to Luke. However, I figured that not pursuing my personal dream is not an Option. I give it my best and try to Improve Quality with every new Video ✌️
