Enjoying your problem solving approach. You actually fix stuff ! (As opposed to replacing everything.) Looking forward to your return to the GT6 Cheers John
Another great video Elin, Electrics terrify me but only because I'm colour blind so I need somebody with good colour vision before I attempt to do any wiring. Keep up the great work.
Hi Elin I had the same issue. The hazard switch cuts power to indicators when hazards are operating to stop indicators interfering with hazard operation. Think you have a fauty or dirty connection on the hazard switch or as in my case the hazrd switch was not ging fully back and not making the connrction back to the indicators.
Yeah, that makes sense. I am buying a new switch anyway. This one comes all the way back, but for some reason does not restore the connection to the turn signals.
What happens if you have switched on the hazard warning lights and also turn on the turn signal? I think this contact should open the circuit to the turn signals when the hazard warning lights are on. But no matter, I also think that the switch is defective. But for the moment that's certainly OK. I think that your systematic troubleshooting is very good. Thank you for another good video of your restoration. Cheers Bernd
Hi love the channel mate great content and really informative. I’m currently restoring a 1974 tr6 that I’ve inherited as the person who was restoring it got cold feet and hasn’t come back lil😂. It’s a nightmare it’s been going on for 16 years so as you can imagine a lot of parts are missing. I was wondering if you could send me a copy of the dash wiring diagram you use in this video as it’s a lot better than the one I V d managed to get it would be much appreciated
Nice systematic approach. But Re turn signal indicator. Function restored but is the problem solved? 🙂 Is the hazard switch oxidized or mechanically faulty?
I don't know where you heard this myth but I've never had a warm beer. Fly on over and find out for yourself :-). Don't worry I don't believe what I heard about American beer ;-)

love the way you problem solve ...
Thanks
Hey brotha...Where does the key warning light and buzzer mount?
Just did these jobs myself so it’s great to watch and confirm what I did, great job. Did you check that the Turn Signal indicator was also working?
Thanks! Yes, it works now, but I will buy a new hazard switch just in case.

Good thinking. I never tried that! Well this is just a temporarily fix. I will order a new switch.

These switches are failing on many cars. They are just a weak spot. I will have to buy a new one eventually.
Lucas - Lord of Darkness (Yes, I know it's been said before...)
LOL
Nice work all that spaghetti is one pita .I'll say it again I know you will address it later but why is the car sitting so high.
I did address that. You will see in the next video. Not much effect though. Lowered it just by 1/2"
The British drink warm beer,,,, because they have lucas refrigerators!

LOL. I should say that I've been on many business trips to the UK and I've never tasted a warm beer. Maybe they imported fridges from Bulgaria LOL
