Great video, i skimmed through it to see if it has the same mounting pieces i have, but looks different. My mounting pieces are 105.570.36 which is 2 long pieces of wood, and 005.570.32. Has IKEA changed the mounting articles and process i wonder?
Great work man! One way to tackle the leveling of it all would be to get the first one at the exact height you need and use the level to reference off of that one as you go. Laser line makes the process much quicker though.
Thanks so much! Where were you when I was leveling out island...I could have used your help. ;) Yeah, you are right that would have been way easier. Thanks, I will keep that in mind for next time.
You probably could but you have to make sure you attach to studs, which might be problematic based on cabinet mounting points. When you mount standard wood cabinets the back wall is usually a solid piece of wood so you can put screws anywhere but with IKEA cabinets the back wall is a press board so you can not use it mount cabinet, the screws would pull through the pressed board or the rest of the cabinet would fall off the wall and the back would still be attached to the wall.
They are all 24 inches deep except wine rack and cabinet next to wine rack and those are 15" deep. On the storage side I had a 18" wide a 30" w and a 36" wide and on the other side was a 24", 30" and another 30". Both sides come out to 84" wide. All are all 30" tall. Hope that helps
Very good job ! Smart hack to put one cabinet on another to get it leveled, i'll think about it when i'll mount my future kitchen. Thank you
Thanks! Good luck on your future kitchen!
@@jaredmyers3227 looking forward for your next project !

That’s a great question, I have not seen those specific pieces before. I assume they did it because it was a better solution, at least I hope.
Your videos are really helpful! If you needed a rolling island, could you still set up like this but modify for casters?
Thanks so much. Yes, awesome idea! just don't put an oven in it like I did, lol.

@@jaredmyers3227 haha you wouldnt need me, just a decent laser! It is a good investment!! Especially if ya don't have much help and you diy solo.
Can you tell the screw you used to attach the frames together or show the label?
Yes here is what i used amzn.to/3RsJDwF

How can you install over head cabinets without rails? Just fix it direct to wall

could you post a link to the sektion feet you used?
well it looks like they changed the design a little bit from when I did mine but these look very similar www.ikea.com/us/en/p/sektion-leg-10265518/
What is the size of the cabinets you used?
