Thanks for posting. I was about to book this excursion and decided to checkout a video first. I have a fear of heights so I know I won’t be able to do this but your video was very nice and scenic.
🌲🦀 Just got back from Juneau, Alaska, and wow, what a reality check! I really thought I was going to enjoy some authentic Alaskan experiences, but it turned into a major tourist trap! Who knew two pounds of King Crab would cost us a jaw-dropping $156? 😳 We decided to take the Gold Rush Tram, thinking it would be a scenic ride. Nope! $110 later, we found ourselves at a gift shop on the mountain with prices that could make anyone blush! 😳 I was expecting breathtaking views, not a wallet-sucking souvenir store! And then there was dinner at the bar/restaurant up top where I paid $28 for a single glass of wine and some French fries. 💸 You could get a full meal for that back home! Oh, and let’s not forget the bus ride to see a glacier that set us back $160 for the two of us. Just a few years ago, it cost $7 per person! Talk about inflation! 🚍💔 I hate to say it, but when you think of Juneau, think double the prices of Disney World with a fraction of the attractions. If you're planning to visit, beware of the wallet drain! 🏔💰

Thank for showing us the Tram ride and what to do up there. Definitely need to do. We added it to our list. Thanks again.
Awesome! It was beautiful up there. 🛳️☀️
Another great video, thank yoy for sharing! The views really look amazing from up there!
Thank You! Yes, the view was great and the weather. 🛳️☀️

Glad the video was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this. Is there a bathroom anywhere along the trail? The smallest trail is a half mile round trip?
I didn't notice any other than at the main building. If anyone else saw some please comment below.
Is bear spray needed on the trails??
We didn't have any but I'm sure some people did. Bears are in the area.
Did you buy your “open ended ticket” with Royal Caribbean or at Juneau?
We bought it from Royal but it was the same as the ticket shoreside.

which month was this?
This was at the beginning of July.
Man, NCL has this only at 7am. Why do they only have 1 time slot and as early as possible? Ridiculous!
That's odd because during our sailing you could buy it right at the port all day.
I think you can use your ticket for the tram any time you like. The time slot is just the earliest you can go.
👍👍👍 💖💖💖
Are there bears on the trail????
We didn't see any but yes, there can be.
MentalFloss rated this the most overpriced tourist trap in Alaska
Most excursions are a little on the pricier side in Alaska.
