  • Another motocross technique video, this time about gnarly moto ruts.
    Have you ever wondered how to go through a weird rut on your dirt bike? In mx, every corner is different and while some corners are super easy to hit, some will be very easy to make a mistake in. If you want to hit a rut good on a dirtbike, sometimes you need to go slower to go faster, especially if the rut isn't smooth.
    I want to help you guys learn how to ride your dirt bike correctly while working on my own technique in the meantime. Technique for motocross is a huge deal and will help you increase all of your skills on a dirt bike. My technique on a dirt bike used to be amazing, and it seems as I have gotten faster and bigger on a dirt bike, it has gotten worse. When it comes to weird ruts tough, sometimes technique isn't the biggest deal and you just have to slow down to go fast. So, hopefully me and my 2020 Honda CRF450R WE can help teach you something new!
    I hope you learned something from this! And if there is anything else you want motocross training or motocross tips wise, let me know in the comments below!

    This channel deserves more recognition. Way better than Jwalk. Not to thrash on Jeff but he only posts GoPros and that shit got old real fast

      I agree, I watched Jeffs 2020 450 shootout videos and all they were was go pro vids from each bike. Tyler’s videos are much much better

      i agree and disagree with the statement. i think jwalks content needs to be changed, but the stuff he doesn now is good enough to bring in views

    I'd love to corner like Eli mtb style standing up like a madman through a 2 ft deep corner rut, but you're 100% right(not that my opinion matters)smooth and consistent is easier. Especially for most of us humans. Kenny is so smooth and it looks like he isn't even trying. Thanks for the tips.

      Wouldn’t everybody like to be like tomac haha?! But for sure for most of us smoother is better

    Fantastic coaching brother! Mate Id be interested to hear your thoughts on when to stand and when sit in corners. I noticed when you did the first aggressive run you stood longer into the turn and when you did the smoother run you were sitting. I’m really struggling with this atm 🤷‍♂️

    thanks for your advice ,you are an awesome rider btw.I have a question do you think the "smoother is faster" works better on 450s?

      @tylermonks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’ll definitely be a little easier with a 450 but it’s definitely still something you can do on a 250

    How they let you build a motocross track next to all those homes? Does anyone complain?

      My money is on the track was there first and some developer built those houses. The morons that bought them will end up complaining and get that track closed inside a year. Seen it happen before.
