As for your question, yes it is possible to get a prepaid e-sim before arriving Germany but this is done through third party apps like Holafly or Airalo. These are tourist e-sim.
@@Naijagirlingermany Thank you! Do you mean that only tourist e-sims are available on these third party apps? Do you know of people relocating there?
@@aninoritse_glows as far as I know, yes.
If you are relocating, my advice will be to roam on your current sim till you arrive Germany (that means for a day at the most). Once you arrive Germany, you can then get your sim card or e-sim. With Vodafone you can get a e-sim immediately online but the other 3 major network providers, you have to first get a sim card.
So if you are not just visiting, there is no need to hurry in my opinion.
