I have a 1927 rebuilt model L so I kind of know what I'm talking about. From your videos it looks like you have a very nice rebuilding operation and facility. Do you do everything yourself? Do you replace soundboards?
Thank you for the kind words. I’m sorry I just now saw your question. I usually only do light rebuilds and refinishing as I am comfortable doing that myself. I’ll do the occasional pinblock and soundboard repair as needed. I ship pianos out for heavy rebuilding to the folks that do it every day (i.e. bridge capping, soundboard replacement, action geometry redesign, etc.)
@Jacob Emch. I'm really impressed with piano techs that post on TH-cam. There are so many skills required to rebuild a piano classic. Many of you also play so well. It's pretty clear that many of you got into the business through the pianist route.

Beautiful tone, it reminds me of a 1930 Steinway I used to have.
