Been searching for a video like this for way too long. Thank you so much for giving me some kind of structure to follow, this is a great starting point.
Maan I wasn't gonna comment til i realised its a smaller channel... top quality tips and the delivery is brilliant man keep it up! Subscribed after 1 vid (the sideways jumping one)
I agree that for beginner climbers finger strength is almost certainly gonna be weak, but for day 1 I wouldn't worry about hang board or even doing any kind of climbing specific training. Just hop on the wall and pick the easiest stuff. Even better go with friends. The trick is to have fun, because if you're having fun then you'll keep climbing and naturally get stronger. I think hang boarding is only helpful if you're trying to get stronger, not your first day at the gym
Rest pause is usually, when you do as many as you can then wait for a shortened rest period usually 15-20 seconds and then repeating for a number of times or until you cannot complete another rep. The technique you're talking about it I know as myro reps in the bodybuilding community. Maybe there is some overlap on the terminology.
sounds like you're talking about an AMRAP with some rest/pause. rest/pause isn't associated with any rep ranges, just the idea that rest will be taken if needed during the set. could be an overlap of temrinology
