    Make sure not to boil the miso soup as it kills the probiotics in it and also make sure you get a small strainer to get the clumps out of the miso even if you think it does not have lumps 😊 tip* if you check the ingredients and you see it has no dashi/kombu make sure you make a broth with kombu or the powder you used and boil with bonito flakes

    Love this quick recipe idea. May I ask what type of tofu firmness is best for this quick recipe? Is that a white miso paste? What brand dried Wakame do you like? TY!

      I’ve used fish bones and fins etc after I’ve fillet them to make the soup stock. Requires a little more time and effort but beautiful umami flavour

    I read that dashi granules contain msg. Is there a homemade version of miso soup?

    • @gabberdoo2180
      @gabberdoo2180 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Msg is not inherently bad unless you have a genuine sensitivity but its not a common to have.

    • @GoogleUser-td1ic
      @GoogleUser-td1ic ปีที่แล้ว

      @gabberdoo2180 You are not answering my question. So before MSG was invented, how did Japanese make miso soup?

    • @FullHappyBelly
      @FullHappyBelly  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can make a fish stock with fish bones and head after you fillet it. No waste and adds flavour to the miso soup
