- Thought I would give you a more recent update of what is going on while in the hospital. Hope to have a more happy go lucky video up soon for you all :) Even I'm tired of all this 'adulting' stuff. Ugh. lol. Love y'all.

On Everybody Loves Raymond one of the the twin brothers committed suicide last year, and yes all three were siblings. Very sad.

She was wonderful, a straight talker. I wish she knew how much she helped people and how much awareness she raised.
I am battling non small cell adenocarcinoma.My first symptom was conscience seizures on the left side of my body. Got an MRI of my brain, then had brain surgery to remove it. Pet scan showed cancer in my lung and lymph nodes as well. I get MRI and CT scans of chest every 3months. Brain tumors pop up here and there and I get gamma knife for them. I got chemo and radiation when 1st diagnosed. Now I am on immunotherapy since last year, last scan results showed a progression of the cancer. Don't know what's next. Only God knows! Hugs!
Hello Robin. I am sorry to hear of your struggles as I know (although we have different cancers) that the needles, tests, surgeries, scans, appointments, etc get overwhelming to say the least! You are a strong and courageous lady!! My cancer is progressing as well but for me the decision was to stop treatment awhile ago and I am at peace with that. All we do is to keep on keeping on my friend!! Much love and many hugs your way!
Hey there Sarge. Never a problem getting you where you need to be. I am SO sorry I could not come see you today (Sun). My freakin car situation just made it impossible. I am SO upset about it. I will def get it taken care of today (Mon) and will be up there sometime in the afternoon. That will give you and Mrs.Sarge time alone without this third wheel lol. I will text first to make sure its a good time and in case yall need me to bring anything with. I have been praying hard the ER doc was wrong and its just a clogged gland. I speak your language sweetie. I battle depression and I withdraw from the world during a bad episode. It's difficult to engage with people when we are in a dark place because we don't want to expose our vulnerability to friends and family. But those who love us are there when we emerge again. You always make me smile! Xxx
Emergency room experience sounds about right!! 🤬 I had trouble breathing,oxygen level was 72. The ER told me I had a 6 1/2 hour wait. My granddaughter said “fu** that”!!!! Drove me 30 miles, to a different hospital. I was in treatment room in less than 10 minutes. I was hospitalized for 7 days. Thanks to my granddaughter I’m doing well. I’ve learned going to the most convenient place, isn’t always the best.
Saw this after watching Emily Haywards death notice,So sorry for Sarges family. RIP. I also live with Lupus, COPD, and osteoporosis ,and use oxygen 24 7. I see a beautiful soul who suffered to no end. G d bless you Mrs.Sarge.
Hey sweetheart. My mom has terminal ovarian (now lung) cancer and she has times where she forgets periods or moments of time. Sometimes it was the chemo, sometimes it's the meds, sometimes she's just so tired, a few times it was from sepsis... At first it was very scary for me, and I'm sure it was really scary for her! We're kinda used to it now. I am praying for you, Love. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I imagine there are so many people who are more able to deal with and accept their pain because they see you are getting through it, and that makes them believe they can too. ❤️❤️❤️ (And I wasn't saying I know what you're going through because my mom has cancer. 😉 I didn't want you to think that. I look at my mom and it makes me sad that I don't know what she's going through. That she is all alone in that. That's why I wanted to say thanks for sharing because you DO know what my mom is going through and you are helping so many who would also otherwise feel alone.)
Hello Kelly :) Thank you for sharing your comment with me. I am sorry to hear about your Mom's illness. God knows cancer is an awful beast that needs to just go away and never come back. I do understand the periods of getting confused and it is frustrating. I did laundry the other day before my most recent hospital stay and got so frustrated over the 2 pairs of scrubs my wife had in there.....when they came out of the dryer I just could not get them put into matching sets on the hangers. It made me so mad. I just had to leave them. Better to walk away and take a deep breath sometimes instead of just getting more angry and upset about it. I think that 2 people who are both fighting cancer can perfectly understand parts of each others journey and help each other along the road...but at the same time every thing affects us each so much differently than one another, some times it does still leave you feeling alone. Please let your Mom know that she is welcome to reach out to me at any time, as are you :) Love and Hugs to you!!
I too suffer from severe ptsd following almost dying from a serious disease... it's horrible and if you'd haven't been through it its hard to explain.

In 2012 I went to the E.R..can't remember why..so many E.R. visits. I mentioned a tiny area on my throat that on touching iy..felt like a small oea. They blew it off...yep, a tumor?.removed in 2015. It started blocking my breathing once it grew..LARGE. at removal, I saw the Dr that said it was nothing in 2015 while I was waiting for a CT and He had no words. Thank God that one was benign, but what if it hadn't been? So yea, keep the docs on their toes. Hoping that one of yours us too. Just had to let you know too God is by your side.nite.

I truly believe without any doubt whatsoever, that the only doctor I have had through ALL of this that I can trust, is my Oncologist. Everyone else has given me a reason to second guess. Hugs to you.

You are such a brave person to be able to be so transparent and share your journey with us... As much as this TH-cam documentary of your cancer journey is an outlet for you somehow I'm finding that it's something that may be just what people need just stay strong, to be encouraged, and to fight for the right to make their own decisions... I have ptsd also not medically related... But related to a severely abusive childhood. Both of them, the parents should have gone to jail.

Sorry for the double message, but I wanted to add:
This advice is from ME. I am NOT a doctor. I do know much about the body, illnesses, medications as I've been such much myself (with Lyme, kidney stuff, thyroid, etc..). MY common sense tells me, if the spleen helps fight the serious types of infection, then you should do whatever it takes to keep it!! I say this because you have cancer. You can't depend on your immune system, so you need all the help you can get! Obviously you don't know me, but if for some reason what I'm saying to you makes sense and feels like truth to you then maybe consider what I'm saying. It's possible I could be right! Haha. 😜
Hey there again Kelly :) You are absolutely right about the spleen and has to be a LAST resort for me to have it done. One of my Hematologists told me that it would be considered a 3rd line treatment. Right now we are talking through the 2nd line ones as the 1st line ones haven't seemed to work. It would seem the options get rearranged a bit when you have another serious condition due to how everything will affect each other, which makes sense. Thank you for the advice my friend :)
So sorry to hear things are so rough for you at the moment but hopefully there will be some good treatment without too many side effects . I know I'm a stranger but you seem like an incredible person whom I would be proud to call my friend. Your courage and dignity are awe inspiring . My nephew just found out he has stage 4 colon cancer with lymphoma , It was a shock to us all to say the least.Russell is 34 , I know after viewing your videos he has a rough road ahead. Hi....I battled stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma I'm currently in full remission after 12 rounds of chemo. Unfortunately, I'm having problems with my platelets now, the doctor said he thinks it's an auto immune problem just like you described. So we are keeping an eye on it. Where I live at sarge it's near the mammoth cave national park. Which I believe is the longest cave system in the world. Back in the day they would excavate salt Peter, which is used for gun powder. They have tours you can take, one is like you go in a quarter of a mile, than there's one where it's like 6 hrs long lol I did the quarter of a mile. There is trails galore and there's a spot near the welcome center there where you can park and grill out, but the cool thing is the deer. The deer will actually come up to you. Your not supposed to feed them but.... I have. I know big NO, no! Lol it's so pretty and relaxing. It's beautiful during the fall with all the leaves changing. I'm gonna try and get you some post cards and maybe I can take some pictures so you can see. Take care and I hope you enjoyed alil tidbit of where I'm at in Kentucky. 😊
Wow Snicker Doodle! That sounds absolutely amazing! I don't think I have visited a cave/cavern since I was a kiddo. Now I am nervous to because of needing a bathroom in close proximity. Can't imagine trying to run like a mad person in the right direction out of there! lol. I would love to see pictures of the Mammoth Cave National Park! The one near us (if you want to read about it) is called Innerspace Caverns. It is near Round Rock, TX I think. Talk to youl you soon! Love and Hugs!

Hi Sarge. I really don't know what is appropriate in your time of need. All of my loved ones have been snatched away from me, except my grandmother. To her, I got to say good bye. She was murdered but held on for a time, til I told her to go on to glory, but tell all of my loved ones that passed before me, I will see them soon, when I die.. You are the first person that I have ever known that knew ahead of time, that they were going to pass away..We are all going to pass away someday. It does not discriminate. I really don't know if it is better to know, or it is better to NOT know. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you, my dear, and I am praying that you will live, and live healthy, not sick ALL of the time. In my eyes, you are a wonderful person and my prayer is not asking too much. Good people should NOT have such bad things happen to them. If it will improve your quality of life, you should have the infusion, but I am not wearing your shoes. I will be thinking of you and I have been for quite some time. From now on, I promise not to be a silent viewer. Hugzz to you my dear and may you make the right decisions, in your time of need!!!
Aww, thank you so much for the kind words my friend. I have to say, in my case, that I have adapted overtime to having the knowledge of a premature death and in some ways I am grateful because I was able to stop taking life for granted which I was! It has taught me to love harder and live fuller! So for that I am blessed. Love you my friend and sending you loads of love and hugs :)

Hello Joannie :) Well the platelets are moving in the right direction since bottoming down to 8,000 yesterday, so that is good. Looks like the drug is working. It is being administered through my IV, which is fine but I was taking the same drug through pill form at home when it dropped and I had to come back in. So I have to admit I am a bit nervous about being discharged for that reason. We will see what happens though!! Mrs. Sarge will be here in just a bit, so I am super excited about that! I know a guy who is going to have stem cell treatment to stop his Leukemia. He is not wealthy but is still offered the stem cell treatment. ITp waxes and wanes, I had it for yrs. had 3000 once wtf ! Rituximab is fine. I’ve had several infusions for another auto immune and worse thing is you feel washed out but no sickness it’s really fine that way. I didn’t have splenectomy , had big steroid infusions and immunoglobulins. Also intermittent steroids tapering. Eventually it went away spontaneously. Guess the rogue antibody went out of circulation . Worse thing about ITp is feeling out of control. You can live with it I used too check out the inside of my lip and roof of my mouth for blood spots pin prick bleeds as this warned me when the platelets were dipping and I would walk on the ward. Take Care ! You are doing good. X
Hello Fiona :) Yea, the low counts can get really scary can't they? My lowest was 2k after I had already gone in to the hospital and been admitted with 5k. No fun. After several talks with some oncologist and hematologists, it isn't so much Rituximab that scares me itself, it is just my anxiety with the treatment rooms. It mentally wore on me after awhile. just the thought of going into that area sets my anxiety off. I need to do an update video, but looks as though I will be going a different route for now with an injection and depending on the results of that may or may not have a bone marrow biopsy done. Yippee Sarge you’re back..... I appreciate your honesty- you share the good & not so good times which is the reality of life. Sure you could jump up & down on your hospital bed, swing from an IV pole and run nude down the hall - but that’s not what you’re feeling at this time. Sarge, I watch your vlog to hear your stories (funny & serious) and to gain a better understanding of what a cancer does to an individual on a day to day basis - the truth. I loath those cancer center tx ads where everyone is happy, walking in lush gardens, getting into their Mercedes while exclaiming “the tx was wonderful & I’m cured.” We minions love you & look forward to seeing you.

I love you lady and I have been praying for you not the greatest of news but a video is a video just seeing something from you is better than not seeing anything at all cuz that makes me worry even more. Not all videos have to be happy but yeah you still have a way of you to make things seem not so bad it's all in your outlook always has been and always will be for me. Scenery is not the greatest but I guess it could be worse at least you ain't got tubes hanging all down behind you and around you like they're going to hook you up like Hellraiser or something LOL

My friend had his spleen removed because he got hurt and had internal injuries and was bleeding out. He had it removed 27 years ago. He is ok.
