I liked the opening action scene. I liked the idea of Bond getting kidnapped and tortured in a foreign country. The scene with Bond in this fancy hotel soaked, bearded and messy yet still with swagger after escaping was pure awesomeness. Hallie Berry was actually pretty fun and I thought her and Brosnan had good chemistry. Oh and Rosamund Pike was hoooottt!
Die a another day and one my favorite guilty pleasure James bond movie I always defend this movie I always stand up for this and I stuck the amazing fun riding it is entertainment fun dad 20 Bond movie die a another day fun greatness of amazing awesome video Henry Stevens amazing awesome
Well done, it’s also a guilty pleasure for me. Loved all the aspects accept for Zao, his lines always felt flat and forced. Take away the Kite Surfing and the Power Glove/RoboCop suit and you have a really strong 007 adventure here. I do agree that Rosamund was the better Bond Girl in the film. Much more dynamic with layers to her character. Hoping we get a directors cut one day that includes the hot springs scene with her and Bond. Would be interested to know what they talk about during that interaction.
Your enthusiasm for all things Bond never ceases to amaze me. You should turn heel for a video or two and go off on all you hate about these movies lol. But in all seriousness, DAD legitimately had all the potential to be legendary. I wish the dialogue could be sharpened right up and a bit more serious rather than a one liner after one liner for the ENTIRE movie. The climax on the plane got quite silly and unrealistic but a few tweaks could have made it superb. DAD was my 1st in theatres so it'll also be a bit special to me and you know what? It truly is a fun film to watch. I love Brosnan and i wish he got the material he deserved. Imagine him a bit darker along the lines of his character in the Foreigner.
I know people generally dislike 'George Lucas' style tinkering with films years later [unless it's an extended directors cut] but I do wish they would go back and improve the special effects in films like DAD as CGI generally ages rapidly. The effects felt a bit shaky at times back in 2002 but certainly date the film now.
Here’s my Bond film ranking in order 1 Die Another Day 2 Skyfall 3 Licence To Kill 4 Casino Royale 5 The World Is Not Enough 6 Goldeneye 7 Tomorrow Never Dies 8 From Russia With Love 9 Goldfinger 10 Spectre 11 The Living Daylights 12 The Spy Who Loved Me 13 Dr No 14 No Time To Die 15 Quantum Of Solace 16 Octopussy 17 You Only Live Twice 18 The Man With The Golden Gun 19 For Your Eyes Only 20 Moonraker 21 Thunderball 22 Live And Let Die 23 On Her Majesty’s Secret Service 24 A View To A Kill 25 Diamonds Are Forever
I for one prefer this to Quantum of Solace (ok, only slightly). As well, objectively speaking, this film DID make MORE 💰 than his preceding film - something not true of Licence to Kill or You Only Live Twice (the first farewell film of Sean Connery).
Yeah the henchman from this movie was amazing. Potentially the greatest! How can people rate this as worse than Craig's efforts conbined!? His films were great but 100% not Bond.
The car turning invisible is awesome and I'm tired of pretending otherwise :)
Die Another Day was the first Bond film I saw at the pictures when I was 15 years old, it holds a special place in my heart

For all its faults, it is a very entertaining film. Pike was the highlight for me.

Why did Halle Berry have to cut her hair short for this film? That hairstyle was unforgivable.

Is the worst movie of franchise
