There was another reason khun choose to become a light bearer and that is when he said that he could never beat his dad when it comes to a spear fight. No matter how talented khun is at using a spear, he can never catch up to the dad(reason why whole family is talented at spears and also elements like lightning and ice and even more wtf why is this man so talented ). Therefore he decided to use his other talent his intelligence as a way to beat his dad and prove to himself that he doesn’t have to use his dad bloodline to become strong.

I love Khun. There’s way too many reasons why.
One of the big ones was how much he treasures his friends (esp Bam). One of his panels, something along the lines of “tell me where you’re going, so I can follow anytime” (he’s the friend everyone wish they had but didn’t)
Khun is definitely one of my favorite characters he is number three for me i have Bam above him in number two and ENDORSi above him at number one for favorite characters

I've always thought that Khun has a very conflicting personality. On the one hand, he can trick people and kill them with cold blood, and on the other hand he treasures his friends (aka Bam) so much that he's willing to sacrifice anything, himself included, for them. On the one hand, he takes pride in the "Khun" in his name and the fact that he's born in one of the ten great families, and he somehow doesn't prefer to be called by his first name (like, imagine calling Yeon instead of Ehwa, that's so wierd). And on the other hand, he shies away from utilizing inborn family-exclusive talents, and he hates his father with a passion. I like him so much because of his talent and loyalty, and I really can't wait to see the Khun family arc where these conflicts can be fully revealled and discussed!!

@@ericsalgado-valle8634 Nah, not really, compare their parents, and you'll realized that Killua's the fav of the family, whereas AA is pretty much of a marginal character even at this point. This difference in upbringing accounts for their differing personalities. Killua is carefree and does whatever he wants, whereas AA is just discreet about literally everthing. AA's childhood experience also played a big role in the reason why he didn't support Rak's idea to directly contact Bam during the Workshop battle, despite the fact that he misses Bam as much as Rak, Endorsi, and Ehwa do. Can't imagine Killua making a decision like that lol
@@slainetroyard3696 SUI Actually said that Khun has some influence politically in his family, which makes sense since a Ranker from the Khun family helped him out by stopping the hell train and he told White, he has family leaders connections. I'm interested in why and how he has this influence despite being basically thrown out of the family.

Quant may be silly, but he is a scout ranker. His skill lay with his ability to observe and assess a situation. So the fact that khun still tricked him is amazing
I think Khun's sobriquet once he becomes a high ranker would be "Azure Owl." Azure is for his iconic blue hair, lighthouses, and ice-related power whereas the "owl" is because owl is the animal that is commonly used as symbol of judgement, wisdom, and intelligence
Or Azure Fox, because foxes are sneaky and Khun is one sneaky turtle!

I don't think the sobriquet you suggested is possible; IIRC, sobriquets require 1 trait & *one sea-based creature* nickname.

Oh in SIU blog post, it is said Khun is top 3 in Bam's group when it comes to fight hand to hand.... Pretty cool considering there are people like Rak,Elaine,Endorsi etc.

One thing I was curious about is when Khun was constantly issuing the fire fish and the fish said something about “you’re just like that pig, have fun while you can but eventually you’ll burn everything up” or something like that. I wonder if there’ll be a point where he relies or overuses the power?
Yes, I think that at some point he will have to start using ice shinsu more regularly to balance them out.

But if khun heals someone using that fish does that means he gave a small portion of that power to that person too. Becuz when he saved the canine girl she was able to save her dad using that flame too.
Khun is so underrated because he is next to Bam in comparison, but in reality he is actually super strong among most regulars.

From what I remember khun is one of the only 3 members mentioned or shown being able to use ice shinsu. The other 2 being edhuan khun and Elliott khun (the ruler of the 44th floor who somewhat was in a standstill with evankhell)

Khun is my favorite character in ToG and what i really love about him is that he cares about Bam the most he would do anything for him and his is really very smart.

Against that one ranker right after they escaped prison in season 3, Khun used the fire fish on bam and powered up his read thryssa btw.
Joe, there’s one BIG detail you missed; Khun actually got the Sweetfish during the Dallar Show and it fused with the Yeon flame to become the “Flame Sweetfish”
He only has the power due to his ice shinsu holding the flame at bay and due to the Sweetfish that contains the Yeon flame itself

The sweetfish died and the yeon flame just happened to take the form of a fish. The wiki says, *This "flame" took the shape of a flaming fish.* I'm guessing that the flame took the shape of a fish is coz Khun grew attached to the sweetfish in the dallar show? Idk-

You’re right, but I find it interesting that it “died” from the “lava” stuff.
Also Khun first notices the power right after he wakes up and it looks kind of like a fusion of the OG Sweetfish and the new flame Sweetfish. Then when he is resurrected he sees it and actually calls it “Sweetfish”. You’re right that it could have taken that form due to Khun’s emotions, I’m just not entirely convinced yet.
Yah I thought of that as well, how it died from that lava thingy by sacrificing itself. What I think is that Khun saw it die like that, and that scene stayed there jn his subconscious mind and when he acquired the yeon flame, his feelings converted the alive flame to take that form-

Well, Khun actually gave the fire fish to Bam to help him fight a ranker when they were looking for Dowon, so yeah, he can power him up with it
Unfortunately, I think SIU mentioned somewhere that he wouldn't be giving Khun any fighting scene. Although I would also want to see him fight with all his arsenals.

yeah your going to go down one of the Original OG Tower of God TH-camr's by far your the most informed on the subject at this early period where not many are invested in the story at all, you will be the source of Fact's and information for theory's year's down the road. and inspiration of course. your the only who has gone all in on Tower of God, their is enough story here and in the future to match One Piece theory's and Hunter x Hunter

I think it’ll be cool if he does some type of yin yang thing to keep the flame under control seeing as it said something about growing to big for him one day I also can’t wait to see how far his ice powers develop... I can’t help feeling that he’s going to look for a way to get stronger faster because bam is growing at a rapid pace and he doesn’t want to get left behind but I also think it’ll harm him in some way in the beginning but his bounce back will most likely be epic and though he won’t be as strong as bam he wouldn’t be far behind
