    Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial. I made mine in aqua color for my little 4 month old and it came out great! I placed it next to him while he was napping to surprise him when he wakes and he smiled in his sleep! Simply beautiful!

    I practiced my finger coordination when I was in fourth grade! And it's pretty hard but you'll get the use of it after awhile. So what I did was in our elementary olympics I joined badminton, my turn was a pretty long wait so what I did was try to balance my racket through my finger and started rolling it with each finger so now I'm in high school and the 32:00 part wasn't a hard thing for me!

    I so wish that I could give a donation. After my bills are paid I have $97 month to live on. That's use for transportation of food and my dogs food. Likely have just asked adds of leftover yarn. So again think you very very much for the free pattern.

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      never feel badly about that! That's why I do what I do. The donation is only for those who can and only if they want to. There's no obligations here. I'm so happy you can enjoy the patterns and videos. Happy crocheting!

    your work is so clean! Mine is always loose and not straight. :'( Was thinking of making this for my dad for Christmas! Hope it all goes well. Thanks for the guide!! :)

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Akira Kairi try tightening your stitches more. It takes practice and with each amigurumi you make it will get easier. If you're using a larger hook, like maybe a 5mm, switch to a smaller hook. Try a 4mm and if you still see gaps and you've tightened up your stitches then try a 3.75mm. I wish you all the best!

    • @akirakairi4629
      @akirakairi4629 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sharon Ojala is there a right side and wrong side to this design? Because this design is a one piece for the body, I don't think we can overturn it when we're almost done, right?

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Akira Kairi
      It's better to work the right side just as soon as you can. You can turn it much later but it gets more difficult to do so. Watch this clip, I show the right and wrong side. I have it set to open at the right time th-cam.com/video/_mLCHF6NGiw/w-d-xo.htmlm34s

    • @akirakairi4629
      @akirakairi4629 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** I actually made the head halfway and turned it inside out. It doesn't look that bad. I actually researched on how to turn it inside out and crochet clockwise from there so that it doesn't look so messy. But thanks!

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Akira Kairi for sure, glad it worked out. For smaller rounds you will want to turn them sooner as it will get more difficult but I'm sure you've figured that out already :) Have fun!

    Mine seems larger than yours, I have all red heart yarn super saver and my grey is jumbo super saver..could this be why? I think the jumbo means its a double skien...idk...

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Natas Nico that just means a larger package. Some colors in Red heart will work up a different gauge, some a bit larger and some a bit smaller. It'll work out fine in the end.

      google "crochet bed dolls" and see what comes up there.. also try a pattern search on Ravelry. You'll have to become a member there but it's free. Hope that helps

    I just started learning how to crochet and I just wanted to say thank you. Even though I am still learning, I am able to learn while making a cute animal. :) Most people just go really fast and don't explain it as well as you do! What size hook do you use while making the stuffed animals and where is the best place to get yearn? Thank you for your time!!

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you, I'm so glad to hear that! All my video patterns here on youtube have written patterns with hook and yarn info and supplies list in the written pattern. The patterns are linked under each video. And I get my yarn at walmart. Also here's a FAQ page on my blog that answers more about yarn and hook size www.amigurumitogo.com/p/blog-page_9.html

    Hi Sharon! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creations! I love them all!
    Have you ever been crocheting along and realized that you accidently pulled out your marker? I have done that twice now. I have made an educated guess as to where to replace it and it has worked out, but it is frustrating! Thanks again for sharing and your creativity!

    • @SharonOjala
      @SharonOjala  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brenda Anderson yes I have and it is frustrating.. there's markers that you can buy that will clip on, I haven't ever tried them myself though. I just assume they might be a bit of a pain to use and just keep using my yarn markers, lol it's frustrating at times but usually it works out fine :)

    • @RebelSol67
      @RebelSol67 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** I use the clip on ones and I prefer them. It can be a little harder to get in but I don't have to worry about pulling it out or it falling out.

    • @brendaanderson959
      @brendaanderson959 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rebecca Combs Were did you find clip on ones? I haven't seen any like that. That would be great! Thanks in advance....

    • @RebelSol67
      @RebelSol67 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brenda Anderson I found mine at a local Ben Franklin craft store. I don't know what you have here you are but if you don't have one, amazon has a great selection of things like that. I can't seem to post links from work but if you search "Stitch marker." You will see them. They look like little plastic safety pins.

    • @brendaanderson959
      @brendaanderson959 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rebecca Combs I found some on Amazon for $1.36 with free shipping! so I ordered them! Score!!! Thanks for the Tip! I hope they work good. Some of the rounds are pretty small and I probably won't use them for those rounds, but for the larger ones, I will. Thanks for helping me out!
