Ganymede is versatile enough to be able to be wearable for any season even winter or summer just adjust sprays. This is just a masterpiece and a 10/10 fragrance.
I just got in a bunch of samples of fragrances I think would be great for fall, but instead of smelling like the autumn season , I went for warm, resinous animalics. I got Francesca Bianchi The Black Knight and The Dark Side, Les Indemodables Vanille Havane, Parfum D'Empire Musc Tonkin, Marlou Carnicure, and Eris Mxxx. I tried Musc Tonkin earlier today and it was quite nice. Wearing The Black Knight now and it's definitely going to be a full bottle purchase.
Well you know the seasons have changed, when you reach for the leathers. Ombre leather was what I went hunting for this morning. TF know how to do fragrance just right. The OGs are still the best. Stunning selection today 👍🏻

Interesting, in my homeland, it rains a lot in the fall, and it is hot and mostly dry in the summer, to the point of drying out all the grasses, so i associate the kind of smells you are talking about with summer. Fall for me is a sweet smell of wet fallen leaves. I do not know any fragrances that smell like that; there was one from Maison Margiela that i think was reminiscent of that, but i do not remember what it was called.
Sebastian you're practically The One and Only to review The Alchemist Garden Collection, and I so appreciate. you. The quality is exquisite and the fragrances are delightfully unique. Timbuktu by L'artisan Perfumer sounds so good, yes I must check tgat along with Banana🍌🍂🍃
Totally agree with immortelle being the star note in autumn. IMO Lalique Ombre Noire is autumn in a bottle. The best in my collection in that season. Thanks Sebastian, after this video Im eager to try some of those of your list

Sad to hear Bois Mysterieux is getting haxed. I'm not a fan of cumin, but maybe because of the myhrr or masterful blending, that fragrance smells amazing to me and completely wins me over. Analogous to how African Leather completely nails it for me, although it also has cumin.

To me Ganymede smells like semen- it's so bizarre. Hence its name.. I am wearing Blackbird by Olympic Orchids today- kinda like the LA at days of summer in the PNW minus the mustiness to be smelled on blackberry-lined paths. It's more like blackberry juice and evergreen- so wonderful!!

Habdan and A Midnight Stroll give me Autumn vibes. Very transportive fragrances in this way.

I just sampled Patchouli Nobile by Nobile 1942. It smells a lot like wet fallen leaves!

I have a sample of If, but I can't smell any fig at all, just wood, dry wood. it has a bit of autumn vibe but kinda masculine for me.

I wish it were easier to get Shamanism and perfumes from that house in the US! I'm really interested in that perfume and the whole house.
I think the brand will eventually get a distributor and should start selling in the states.
