Hi John Karel here you were gone so long people don't know your back. I did not paint for 5 years due to chronic fatigue. Im not at your level but I felt I forgot so much. You are really helping me to get my mojo back. I wish you would show reference a little more. I loved the painting. It turned out great.
Maybe if you darken the umbrella in the shadow area it won’t pop out so much.
