You shouldn't move it until it beeps again. You picked it up to soon. Also don't calibrate it close to metal. A car, a basketball post etc. After calibration don't take off until you get 7 or more on the controller for satellite locks
I am having trouble calibrating also. I have flown my new drone 2 times now all of the sudden I can point it upward and spin till I'm dead and it will not finish calibration....
What size memory card are you using? Try 32 or lower and see if that works? I’ve had the same problem whereby I got it calibrated but it wasn’t connected to any satellites “so I was flying manually.”Remember guys.. if you’re not connected to any satellites your drone will literally disappear into the atmosphere if you’re not controlling it manually. If you hit the return to home button in this instance it should come back to where it initially was launched but you have to do that if you lose sight of the drone.

Jfhelwig Thanks for the advice. In this instance I was in an open field with none of those scenarios so it must have been something else
@@thedredigityshow6805 after I lock on and it has that second beep, I pull both joysticks down right corner. Then I do the spinning

Have a 720 e ,calibrated over and over ,still flys un controlable ,cant figure it out

I wonder if it matters which direction you turn the drone to calibrate, clockwise or counterclockwise?
Bart Lunn I tried that too, but it didn’t work at the time.
the manual doesn't specify left or right but I believe the "Head" or camera should be up.
You need to push both joysticks to the lower right before do the dance
