    Great review! I'm loving my extreme so far minus the messed up coil shock (which resulted in a bent suspension pin after a single set of stairs), but that is getting replaced really soon. I've had a lot of doubts and issues with Begode wheels in the past, but they have really stepped up their game lately, and I think the Extreme is so good that there is no reason for anyone to buy an S22 anymore (previously my favorite wheel).

      I really think the Patton is better off road. I prefer the Mini on street. Kind of want to know how others feel. I have a Commander mini street and a Patton knobby and ride both trails and street.

Begode should have gone for c38 motor and let it just how its in the master, the smaler tyre would result in 62mph freespin and insane Power nice efficiency, i got the feeling the 2400 wh 50e cant keep up with the c40 demand sometimes

    I don’t like my kickstand on my master cause when I go off roading and have any kind of small crash the kickstand bends and gets tweaked. One crash it even bent into the battery case almost puncturing the plastic casing. I like the new kickstand placement. Thanks for another great video 🤙🏼

    I know these 16" wheels are touted as "trail wheels", but I just got a Patton and have put about 150 trail miles on it, and for the kind of terrain I ride, it is more unstable than my larger Master. Maybe I will get used to it, but so far, 16" does not handle large rocks and lose sand as well as the 18" wheel. But the range and suspension are good and if one is to believe Chooch's most recent review, the range on the 1900 WH Extreme isn't great.

    • @YourAubsome
      @YourAubsome ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The range on any wheel with as many cells as the Extreme that can go 45+ MPH isn't great unless your riding it like a grandma. I rode my Extreme and S22 Pro on trails and switched between the two over and over again and I was very surprised that the Extreme outperformed the S22, even with the smaller tire (and I ride trails with large rocks, roots, etc).

      Interesting to read things like this, given the great deals going on with Masters right now. Master just seems like a no-brainer if you're remotely budget-conscious.

    • @arevee9429
      @arevee9429 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jordanb722 I didn't really care for the Master until I got used to it. Now it's a "fav" and they seem to be well-liked by lots of other ppl. Mine has the smaller pack with a higher discharge rate which accounts for some of the range limitation. The only mod I've done was to replace the linkage and I think the newer versions have improvements in that area. Some might find it a tad top-heavy, but I've grown used to that and the other shortcomings, so yes, it's a great wheel for a low price.

    Great review! Nothing on Range/Battery performance? Some of the negative aspects including the few cutouts were focused around battery sag and performance. So just curious with c40 motor if the range and fun factor are affected? Or if that was also over egaderated as well. Thanks again for an informative video!

      @justinspirational ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fun factor is higher with extreme.. the combination of the out this world thrilling torque and acceleration with the optimum agility of the 16" wheel yet still capable of speeds over 50mph is the most fun.. (the greater suspension travel also allows to keep up speed more over uneven
      terrain)..there are also 50s battery extremes coming for sustaining those higher speeds for longer as otherwise none of these 4p battery 16" wheels excel at sustaining those higher speeds for long with eg. 50e batteries but rates but what they were inherently designed for. They excel and are primarily designed to excel as high torque agile dirt riders

    So how did the wheel vibrate at 50mph? Was it a speed wobble vibration or a vertical up and down vibration?

      @@Ronin_Ryder I have met a rider with Master V4 on a group ride. I compared my V12HT with his Master. The pedal height was the same even with no weight on the Master (which put it lower of course) :D. He was really susprised but V12 on the highest settings is high as crazy. So I think that pedal height of the Master is not problem at all for me :). Also V4 suspension and new damper are improved and better than the V1 :)...

    Super review comme d'habitude 👍 ! Je partage sur le forum français.
    Pour la poignée c'est vrai qu'elle cache un peu l'écran, mais pour moi ce n'est pas une erreur de conception de Begode :elle protège bien l'écran en cas de chute d'une part, et recourbée vers l'arrière (et ainsi donc presque centrée) elle s'avère utile pour mieux contrôler / stabiliser / rattraper rapidement la roue à une main, très efficace sur terrains instables ou cabossés (off road) ... 😉
    Peux-tu me dire quels ressorts (éventuellement lien) tu as testé ? Serait-ce les ExaForm sur Ali ? Car ils font 120mm de hauteur compatibles pour les amortisseurs 190 (donc course incomplète) , alors que ceux pour la Extreme sont des 130mm pour un amortisseur de 200... Merci

    • @justinspirational
      @justinspirational ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @danoseus eucs are a very fast evolving industry.. you have to accept the fact that improvements come fast and regularly. In fact we should be grateful for that.. there are advantages to
      getting v1 wheels.. you don't have to wait and get the latest greatest sooner and often at a better price.. but with that you need to accept with that fast evolution v2s will come months later but at least you've had your v1 to enjoy in the meantime.. it's always a choice.. get v1 and enjoy sooner without waiting.. or keep waiting (indefinitely) for the so called 'perfect' version of the wheel..I choose the former..I got a batch 1 ex30 and begode knocked it out the park with batch 1.. in fact I don't see any signs for a v2 it's that good.. glad I didn't wait.. usually v2, v3 are minor upgrades anyway.. I'd rather not keep waiting.. life is too short.. I'm grateful we have so many options and choices.. with any 4p 16" wheel voltage sag is an issue and not good at sustaining top speeds for long..I would have preferred 50s batteries.. but if I need to I can always sell my 50e extreme and buy the 50s version.. not that big a deal.. but I can also be satisfied with what I already have.. which I am and begode are still honoring batch 1 owners like myself by sending us the new spring for the coil shock that takes full advantage of the full 130mm suspension travel which I expect I get soon via my dealer.. in the meantime I'm having the most fun ever on my extreme.. the combination of the highest torque in any wheel ever with absolutely thrilling acceleration with optimum agility from the 16" smaller wheel with great suspension yet feels planted and stable with the 3" rim and low cog makes for the funnest wheel I've ever ridden.. feels like a pocket rocket

    After watching your vid & Chooch's, I'm left with the conclusion that one of yous is LYING. Thru their teeth plus their bunghole! Since you're the one with posted data & lotsa common sense thrown in, I'd conclude you aren't the one lying 😅. Anyhoos I agree with you so much so I'm seriously considering upgrading my T4 to this Extreme with a winter pre order for spring '24, where hopefully, most if not all batch 1 issues will be resolved. Luckily as well, all your dislikes are mostly moot for me. Far's your 'trail wheel as marketing', I'd agree that all wheels are multi use, to a point. EG from personal experience, I wouldnt wanna take my ex30 to take on black diamonds due it weight & bulk. Nor would I wanna ride my T4 as a strictly street wheel as its limitations would render it highly unsatisfactory for me but as a 'dirt' wheel, I thoroughly enjoy as it does 90% of what I want. Not disputing your point but offering another perspective as all. Good review with solid data & very valid conclusions. Glad it wasnt you that was found lying 🤣. JK ofcos
