Eric Whitacre's music is unlike any other and it is phenomenal, an experience like no other. I've heard many of his works performed by the great Phoenix Chorale. The Bel Canto Choir is also amazing! DEEP FIELD is another intense, great work!

I just signed up for the virtual choir version of this song. I am praying that I make it in because this song my favorite orchestral piece.

Sounds like the music for the old film noir, or even the silent movies ! Love the light effects, too.

I prefer this version of the Deep Field performance in particular due to the presentation. The lighting really added to the drama and the whole ensemble felt so immense in its sound despite not being super huge.

it's a great concert ... but 18 of 23 minutes without a choir ... hmmm ... I've expected more choir in a video of "Bel Canto Choir Vilnius"

You hear that airy ambient sound in the background when the choir sings? Those are from the cell phone speakers from the audience.
