More Karma please !!!! Yes, I would really like to take a deeper look at karma from the artistic side. Such nuances as: 1. Tricks with light, light filters, gobos, volumetric light 2. Render passes and their output 3. Render layers, for example, how to render the background separately and the geometry separately 4. Creating assets for materials, so as not to create a material from scratch every time 5. Working with "takes"
bad that it's not described that now in Solaris we have option to set parallel renderings with different options for each. I hope will be separate video about this
Should we now start working everything inside that sop create, solvers, dopa a vellum??? I still find it slow to import everything from the OBJ panel using the scene import…
I don’t think sop create will be any faster than scene / sop import. Both are just pulling from sops and live translating into usd which causes some slowness. If you want things to be faster you can cache out usd with a file cache in lops.

Again, of all the karmic tutorials, Ntagma is the one that works out of the box.

I like the simplicity of this video, for newbies like me it's always good to remember things like snapshots and so on.
Thank you!
I wonder how can we render a custom AOVs in karma?
like maybe an animated mask attribute, it will be handy in compositing.
Thank you!
