Thanks for all your update info. I been using Windows 11 for about a year with very few problems. Did a clean install of 24H2 on Nov 1 and have no problems at all and I also game on my pc with no problems either
If you're having Wi-Fi issues and your Wi-Fi adapter is an intel AX201 or AX211, Windows 11 24H2 may not be your issue. Either update to the drivers released in July 2024 or roll back to the drivers dated August 2023. This will specifically fix an issue causing the Wi-Fi to take a long time (several minutes) to connect/authenticate to any Wi-Fi network and will also potentially resolve intermittent disconnections.
I bought a new HP desktop and installed initial updates and the ver was 24H2. Even after the patch tuesday. It did not fix the problem with my printer detecting my scanner. Can't roll back because after 10 days. Hopefully they will have another patch.
I have an Acer Aspire A315 laptop, previously running Win 11 23H2. When I updated 24H2 the laptop would no longer boot (BSOD during boot) and I could not revert back to 23H2. Fortunately I was able to recover everything from a recent Veritas backup. My advice is to ensure that you can recover from a disaster before attempting to update to 24H2, in case things go horribly wrong. Better still, avoid the 24H2 update for the near future until the issues have been addressed.
My laptop crashed Friday morning, and has spent the weekend at a computer shop. It was windows 11 home, but somehow it got bilocker into the process and would not even allow a restore drive to work. At this point, it reaches the login message but will not take any login.
Been using Windows 11 on my main machine of nearly 5 years until I decided to do a fresh install of 24H2 on it. I could not complete the installation of it due to no drivers available on the ISO. I switched to Garuda Arch Linux and couldn't be happier.
Don't have any problems with the functionality of Windows 11 (including 24H2) on any of mine machines. I do have a lot of problems with how intrusive Microsoft is with Windows 11 and after each upgrade have to spend time on each machine checking that the privacy/security issues are still blocked.
invisible cursor on chromium browsers like edge and chrome has been the biggest annoyance for me. Also high cpu usage on those browsers too despite having 32gigs of ram. Not a problem on my new Mac Mini is less ram.
Be honest Windows releases early in the development cycle at 60% and lets complaints show the other 40% of code needed to fix that stage, so none developers shouldn’t be on the latest stage until the end of it’s development and hold on that stage through to the end of the next stage to change to it!!!!!
11th gen intel running with vbs and tpm and native pcie and all the things required for win 11. Win 11 up to including 23H2 runs perfect, 24H2 breaks all kinds of things, 20 tries in different ways (upgrading/inplace upgrading/online repair/clean installs) and non of it will work without severe bugs. Let Microsoft explain that kind of shit then.... like why my tpm even got corrupted with one of the install attempts. Just a bunch of mallicious software for that end of year campaign again, looking for....in the name of.... so obviously transparant.
Windows 8 was garbage, Windows 10 was hot garbage, and Windows 11 is the stinky puddle of putrescence left behind after the hot garbage has been taken away. I've already tried out Linux Mint on an old laptop, and I think I can confidently say that once my currently perfect Windows 7 PC stops functioning, I will never ever use any Microsoft software again.

Fortunately, my computer is not affected.

24H2 blocks communication with the scanner part of my wireless Brother 2280DW Printer/Scanner. Works fine under 23H2.

24H2 has had allot of problems since it was released in September

Well Windows 12 is rumoured to be coming out after Windows 10 ends or will this version just be Windows 11.1 ?
24H2 won’t see some iPhones when using ITunes
I've had issues with a few games so I gave up. Maybe in the future I will switch.

I am having no issues since I still do not have 24H2. 😀😁
