Mr. Cub. Spent all 19 seasons with the Cubs. 1958 and 1959 NL MVP 1958 he led the Majors in games played, at bats, home runs, runs batted in, slugging percentage and total bases plus he was the NL leader in extra base hits with 81. Between 1955-62, he hit 314 homers and notched 877 RBI and five times he hit 40 home runs in a season (1955, 1957-60)
If Ernie Banks had spent his entire career at shortstop he would have been considered along with Ruth ,Mays , Aaron as the greatest player in baseball history.
What a gentleman.

"It's a beautiful day for baseball. Let's play two!" Ernie Banks.
Ernie Banks, Billy Williams and Ron Santo were amongst the best top three batters on their respective team in the history of baseball.

Greatest shortstop ever
👍👍👍👍
The most positive man in baseball history and the hardest hitting shortstop!
He got so much power with so little effort;he swing was smooth.
Good pick
He could hit
Nice to see a player stay with one team his whole career
Im a White Sox fan but i have love for Ernie Banks Mr Cub
Narrator was wrong when he says after school, cubs always play at 1:15 ,right after bozos circus .
I used to hurry back from school to see the last few innings. All my buddies did the same thing, and after the game, we’d all meet up to play ball.
He would of lowkey won couple of World Series if he was with a better team!
We walked to Wrigley Field from Foster Ave…
My dad pointed out to me that Banks was such a gentleman that he never argued with the umpires, so he always got the benefit of the doubt from them.
