One correction. Chanda sahib did not help french in first carnatic war. Only Governor of mauritius did. Chanda sahib was released in 1748 after the first carnatic war happened. So he helped french in second carnatic war.

Sir, first canetic war duration was 1740-1748.
According to most popular book spectrum and Wikipedia resource.
And second duration was 1751-1755.

2:28 sorry to say but there were marathas in tanjavur before shivaji maharaj's campaign.
Shahaji maharaj was much influential in South India and the son of his second wife Vyankoji (Ekoji) captured tanjavur before shivaji's expedition. His descendants ruled Tanjavur while shivaji's descendants ruled swaraj.

sir wasn't lack of communication the biggest reason for the defeat of french as it was a french govt. run organ. or administration as compare to east India company which was private company so better communication was there ... correct me if m wrong sir
