Nominal powers with Satara and Kolhapur dynasties(Descendants of Shivaji). They called themselves Chatrapatis but no control over peshwa.

2. Lack of Support from alliances and own people
3. Arrogance and greediness
4. Incompetent administration and no leadership
5. Finally, lack of diplomacy

32:55 reference of battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815) whereas here speaker is talking about 1803. It means Arthur fought anglo-maratha first and later fought waterloo

The British were great diplomats, they also managed to gain in the treaty of Salbai.
It is said that untill now the cry of narayan rao is heard at night in shanivar wada in pune..
