I love it. I would also love it if you could add some of her vocal stank and tonal style/dynamics in your playing... For example, her use of full voice mixed with head voice throughout the melody can be replicated with the trumpet. It would be an interesting challenge.
As a freshman in college who plays trumpet the grace notes look easy to play but to play them with the level of musicianship this guy plays it at is very impressive I love how you can hear how he puts his feelings into his playing. That’s a true musician!
@@MrBsCOVERS Thank you, I’m studying towards my Doctorates in Music Education. I’ve thought about making trumpet covers on TH-cam but I’ve got to get better before I can compete with you! Lol
You are simply outstanding, Mr. B. I would have loved to have you for an instructor. Your students are truly blessed. God bless you and your beautiful trumpet abilities. I love watching and listening to your fine videos. An old trumpet 🎺 player from upstate NY. Tom
This is beautiful. I love this channel so much. I finally picked up and started playing about a month ago, after about a 25ish year layoff. Muscle memory is there but not really. I don't remember low notes being this difficult!!!!! D, Middle C, and below is just a garbled mess. gonna take me quite a bit of time to relearn everything. Thanks for all you do and share!
Patience grasshopper (as they used to say in an old 70s tv show). Play what you can, when you can, and have fun! Look for "Hallelujah" tomorrow! Thanks for the request! 🎺
Hi Mr. B! Thanks for a great video and greetings from DK. Do you know about 'Yamaha YTR1335' trumpet? I'm thinking about buying one. I've played for 1,5 years for many years ago when I was a child. Now I'm 24 and I'm thinking about starting again.
Hi David! I don’t know much about the YTR 1335, but I am generally impressed with Yamaha trumpets. My suggestion to you: if you have a music store nearby that stocks trumpets, try that one and at LEAST one more in that price range before buying. You may find something really suits you. Good luck !! 🎺
Wow! You are amazing. You got this done literally overnight! Thanks for your dedication!👍
