Yeah but this was recorded beforehand. The outside is only for the visuals and those clips at the end. No way he gets that kind of mic-ing and sound isolation of the percussion sounds outside a studio. Doesn’t diminish the talent by any stretch. Still impressive.

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen on TH-cam. Never would I have thought a sax could be played like that.
This has got to be my favorite sax video and my favorite sax player of all time. Everything about this video is perfect...the lighting, the setting, the temperature, the music, the easily audible chat with Rachel, the not so easily audible conversation, even the second ending or reprise.
I have watched this countless times. This is still one of my favorite performances & gives me so much insparation!

Carru Chan I can play my sax for almost a whole minute without breathing. It gets easier the more you play.
Sanders I can play without breathing for probably almost half a music page that goes real fast if i know how the music goes xD
the popping sounds are created by sticking your tongue on the reed and pulling it off, while in taking air,...I think this is when he gets his air.
I usually breathe without realizing it. It sounds like I never breathe and my mom actually asked me about it once and I had to calm her down to help her understand it was just I breathe so subtle like.
