But the disorganized white forces suddenly becomes more and more capable. Leadership is competent rather than chaotic, industry in Siberia somehow manages to supply you more and more weapons and the you begin to push back. You fight, fight and fight. From Siberia to the Urals you push back the soviets. You realise that days have become months and months have become years. You have seen teenage conscripts become men and child soldiers become teenagers. All they and you have known is war, for years against the Germans and then your own countrymen. Then, after years of brutal combat you begin to reach the Russian heartland. However, you hear that the damned poles have invaded, occupying vast swathes of the Rodina. So you dutifully fight for her honour again. The mad push by the whites succeed and then you finally win. A decade of service for the motherland, for some it even may be 13 years of service ! P.S: What would Russia look like after 13 years of such a brutal war ?

@@blecao well yes however, the rapid industrialization method the soviets did and many other ideas they had were not really the best for long term. With reforms after the civil war I'm sure there would have been industrialization and possibly faster than in our timeline. On top of that I think some of the great famines and ww2 could have been less severe making the population loss irrelevant. I think its just a interesting scenario and judging by problems in the soviet union that could have been solved I think the Russian state would have been stronger without communism and with reforms.
