It all crumbled away when Hai got injured - He was so skilled legit always fighting for best mid NA :(
God I hope they play together sometime, it's so enjoyable hearing them talk to each other.
I cant be the only one that saw how much sven has changed his body since TSM and just was in awe. That man has some fucking willpower.
Also Reginald legit forced him to go to the gym every day because Sven was really depressed at the time. Sven has said as much in interviews. Regi gets a lot of heat but he watches out for his players.

hai is doing full time streaming, pretty sure lemon is coaching something and balls is mia i think
This to me is the NA equivalent of Moscow 5. Just a squad of unlikely guys who ended up absolutely dominated the region with their innovative picks and strategies. Much like DiamondProX was in his first couple of years, Meteos was so far ahead of the jungle competition that it was honestly insane.
Good comparison. Quick, aggresive games from both of them. However if i had to choose M5 was better than Cloud 9 with both teams in their prime. They were actually heavy favourites of Season 2 worlds, until TPA came out of nowhere.
@@remorselesswinter4214 Yeah, agreed. I remember watching the M5 game and being pretty shocked that TPA and not Azubu Frost were the ones to beat them. Like most of the world, we believed it was a 2 horse race between them, and TPA surprised everyone.
I still rate Toyz as the best Orianna player ever.
@@midastheunwise2423 Thats true. Btw i just checked out of curiosity and noticed Alex didnt pick ryze in either of these games even tho he was open in all 3. They also heavy banned Diamondproxt forcing him out of Eve and Lee sin. Sona was also unavailable for Edward in 2 games
@@remorselesswinter4214 Banning out Edward and Diamondprox is just good drafting really. Alex not picking Ryze is an odd choice though, maybe he thought the matchups were bad?
@@midastheunwise2423 yes i mean of course its good drafting its just M5 was realying on Alex/Diamond heavily . Darien wasnt a carry type of guy and Genja..... well, Genja. And about alex Idk rly. i mean he played Gragas into Anivia game 3 so idk what happened there

Rob Y. I wouldn’t argue that. Jensen proved to be a better player and hai was struggling near the end of his career. The problem was that no one stepped up as igl that split because they were so accustomed to hai igl. Meteos left and lemon was struggling to be a top tier support. Balls was also struggling against all the new imports coming in and overall the team was doomed to fall apart. Still the greatest NA squad ever in their prime.
Back in the day literally everyone roasted c9 for keeping this roster lmaooo

Balls like disappeared from League. I see Lemon and Hai here and there though. Bummed me out when Flyquest took out Hai, Lemon, and Balls. There were some great moments from that team too. I miss OG C9 tho.

What i dont understand is when c9 was 2nd place they immediately decided that changes needed to be made. Instead on working to improve, they just decided to replace the person who performed the worst last season. I wouldve atleast given it one more split.
