In my opinion this is the best Sonic game ever. Maybe not the most famous or legendary, but it has by far the most interesting story, and is the most fun to play. And can I just give a shout out to the soundtrack! (Which actually is kind of legendary)
Such an edgy song and stage! It matches Shadow's character arc so well! So ahead of its time and so much effort put into the soundtrack and its noticed!

In SA2 you can clearly see he’s riding on air thrusters but in forces and shad gens you see his stride is much more like an inline skater on wheels or ice would.
In my opinion Shadow's very best skate animation goes to Sonic Heroes and this is a close 2nd. I think The skating animation for shadow in heroes doesnt get the credit it deserves (watch the beginning of egg fleet to fully appreciate how elegant that is)
I miss playing this game. >.< It was the first Sonic game I played & it was one of my favorite Gamecube games back when I was a kid because not only was it fun, but it inspired me as well. n_n
This is the best level in this game, it’s so much fun running through a jungle to save rouge and it feels like you’re exploring the jungle it’s just so good
I gotta say, the sense of motion you get from this game is just incredible. I really haven’t played any platformer that has given me that same sense weight and movement SA2 gave. Pac-Man World 2 came close but didn’t quite match.
I admire the song Rhythm and Balance, hence the name is the theme for White Jungle that in my own interpretation, Shadow has way more swag than Sonic, but I also am highly addicted to Tyler,The Creator!

@@ambience4245 security hall isn’t bad at all if you know how to go to the top level and hit the colored switches to unlock the safes. The hardest levels to me are Aquatic Mine and Mad Space (that one is the worst)
@@BigRenzEnt somehow on aquatic mine when I was younger I was able to get the water necklace but now that I'm older I have no idea where to get it now.
@@ambience4245 well that’s what TH-cam walkthroughs are for lol but I remember it’s deep within the level. You just need to adjust the water to a certain level and swim through the right passage
@@BigRenzEnt I’m sorry there were COLORED SWITCHES TO OPEN THE SAFES every time I played security I had to restart to get the emeralds in the right place because I didn’t know there were switches
@@CaptainOfTheLeviathan holy moly this post of mine was 6 years ago and people are still mad at me over a comment i made. sonic forces as a game? sucks ass (story and gameplay is so bad). the oc creator? its ok, not as good as the newgrounds one. the music? depending on which track you are talking about varies in quality from peak to trash. the white jungle sonic forces track is alright, but overall it cuts out parts from the og that people enjoy. if you want a better remix, listen to a mashup between the og white jungle and linkin park

Definitely the best sonic game ever hands down, theres just too much to list here. But sadly I have to say, this was my least favorite mission, dont get me wrong, still fun and challenging, but I feel like it was a bit lackluster for me, compared to Green Forest, it wasn't as much of an adrenaline rush, so I blame the music mostly for that lol

Tbf, shadow's levels in forces carry the same amount of finesse, being better than 60% of the levels in the actual game just because of that.
