Kiki I have been looking at this palette since before it was released online. Since then however I’ve been so tempted by Chantecaille holiday and Suqqu winter and rephr and all are wonderful choices. By the time this was released, despite this neutral palette being right up my alley, I think I’m taking a pass. It does look lovely on you.
I love Chanel but I am going to pass on the Holiday collection because it doesn't suit my lifestyle. I did purchase Beige Brut (couldn't resist). The look is stunning on you.
Oooo…I saw all these goodies and only purchased the Tuxedo nail lacquer which is a perfect gold. Not too yellow and it’s a soft shimmer. The lip color just made your shadow pop once you applied it. The peachy color stood out and everything blended nicely. 🤔 My only holiday wish on these special edition shadow palettes … I wish the compact was a bit fancier to match the lipstick. The lipstick is large and in charge but the shadow palette should be screaming luxe on the outside. The colors are stunning 🎉😮❤
Shazam! Beautiful. You know me…scared of dark shades, but the sheer shimmer is smokin’ hot! Yes, powder does make it better. I didn’t use powder during Spring and Summer, but love how a little powder creates a sophisticated polished look for Fall and Winter. I have the NARS Rising Star blush palette that has a couple of shades that might work. Plus the shade names like - Premiere, Paramount, Golden Age, seem fitting for this kind of vintage eye look. You’re final look is absolutely stunning, Kiki! I love how you apply your makeup. Since I’m 62, I have to be careful with application, which I agree is key to how we ultimately look. I’ve already ordered the eyeshadow palette, but I was debating about getting one of the lipsticks. I really like Beige Brut on you! The highlighter is beautiful as well, and after seeing how it looks on you, I’m now considering purchasing that as well! Lol
I have been trying to decide between the Tom Ford and the Chanel. I can only afford one and have watched both of your presentations and others here and am still not decided. I am leaning towards the Chanel now because I absolutely love this look on you. I have almost your identical eye shape and hood. If anything, my hood may be larger as the natural shape of my brows is more arched and believe me, I wish they were more flat!! In any event, this look is stunning on you and while I liked the Tom Ford, I am feeling like with really only three colors, the fourth being more of a primer, this would offer more versatility. I love the pewter color. I am thinking that the Chanel Fleur de Printemps blush/highlighter duo might look nice with the palette, especially with the warmth of the lipstick and if used with a lite hand. I have three colors and will mix two or three - when I'm dark, I can wear just one alone. I have 120, 125 and 130 - look in that range. I also did a video "which color is right for you" where I face swatch all my shades - that might be very helpful
I really love the sheerness of this palette and the color story. I love the bit of liner on your lower lashes too. It feels like you could wear a few shades as one and done too. Really pretty look and very sophisticated holiday look. Thank you for the review!

Is the Tom Ford highlighter lighter than the Chanel highlighter? How do both look on very pale porcelain skin like mine?
I did a swatch comparing the two - the Tom Ford is a bit more pink and I think is really lovely - depends on your undertone, I think
