Lovely and quick battle, great commentary and top notch production, really a flavourful snack of a battlereport. Never had seen such a hero fail so many combats hahaha. I do have to note that near 6:33 the dice graphics gave the heroic to evil since it was a 4 not a 1-3, but surely that would´ve been just an edit honest little mistake. Any tips for this scenarios when you have a level captain hero vs something more powerful? Thanks and keep up the great work mates

In that case, I would hope you have several other captain level heroes in that list, you just throw those non-leader heroes at the big guy (even better when they have heroic defence) and just stall as long as you can while trying to build a kill lead.

Awesome report, guys. I’m working on a Black Gate Opens army as well, but im unsure whether I want Mouth of Sauron or another Troll Chieftain. I find that the Mouth, without Compel and only 4 Will, tends to be a bit underwhelming in the magic department. I think he’s points efficient, but im wondering if a second big threat would be better. Thoughts?
I would say Mouth over the second troll any day. The Mouth’s magic isn’t overly impressive, but at lower points it’s enough to neutralize mid-level heroes, like in this game. He also brings other utility that a second troll doesn’t have, like heroic March and the ability to lead 15 troops, which makes upping your model count a lot easier.

Soooo many elendil fluffs , and troll to, sucks when thst happens to your big guy, aldo i must say , having five dice on the charge with a gullivar or a gil galad does feel alot different to having four dice on the charge, less fluffs , it happens, great batrep
Any hero can roll badly, but yes, can’t argue with the consistency of a charging Lord of the West or Gulavhar (as long as he hasn’t taken any wounds!).
