As a former console players who now plays mnk, it is kinda, up close. Console has 0.60 aim assist which means 60% of your aim isn't you aiming, shit just tracks for you. When you use controller on PC you have 0.40 aim assist, a console player will feel the lack of aim assist as I did when I first switched. In my opinion with the new consoles and their better hardware, when they optimise Apex Legends to be able to run 120fps on PS5 and Xbox, they should reduce the aim assist to 0.40 like PC.

The only thing that controller players have an advantage in is close range gunfights but even then they're still at a disadvantage because of less precision in their gunplay and movement.

You could probably do this on controller as well if you play linear on higher sensitivity. Same thing just twitch your thumb up & down really fast to trick the recoil pattern/reset it. It only works mid/ long
This recoil technique only works if the target isn’t moving. You can’t do that while tracking on moving targets or you’ll miss more than you’ll hit normally.
Sweet is right, jitter aim works but I think it’s best to use after you crack someone from long range and want to finish them off before the clip ends.
that trick doesn't work if the dude is moving though, its basically impossible to do that shake and micro adjust for strafe and aim assist is only really bad against console, controler on pc is meh

Actually depends on what system youre playing. PC players can do this at any range, and it helps with hitting consistent headshots. Some of the top players are there partly because they mastered jittering

In close range tracking is more important and you should be able to compensate for the recoil enough to where jitter aiming is unnecessary.
