He could have just not even connected the sounds because it would make 0 sense for it to apply to him. Not defending him, I am just trying to see how he could do that without actively trying to sabotage. Which I personally think is fair to at least try to do.

You get recoil reduction when strafing left to right while aiming down sights. Don’t really know how it works but you don’t have to move your mouse as much to control the recoil when slowly strafing left while moving your aim to the right, or vice versa
Top level recoil smoothing, the havoc doesn’t have a ton of vertical recoil anymore so you can just pull straight left/right to ignore recoil. You’d see this a lot last season where everyone ran the havoc.
